Attached to the owner's private home, guests have private access to parking, terraces and patios, an enclosed swimming pool (5 meters x 10 meters), and multiple romantic settings to enjoy the beauty of Provence. The house if fully furnished in true Provencal style and equipped with television with international channels, Wi-Fi access throughout the property, phone cards for international calling, bicycles for use, fully stocked kitchen, games for children. Toilet is seperated from the bathroom with bath/shower/sink for easier access.
All of the best of Provence is within an hour from the Bastide! A gorgeous retreat after visiting nearby Chateaux, village markets, wine cellars, the perched villages of the nothern Luberon such as Bonnieux or Gordes, the nearby cities of Aix-en-Provence or Avignon with their museums and 19th century architecture, the Mediterranean Ocean and coastal villages. Or, spend your days poolside, with views of the village and the Mountains, sipping the famed rose wine of Provence and dinning on the best produce from local farmers. The village cafe of Peypin D'Aigues - within walking distance - offers a wonderfully warm welcome, serving breakfast and lunch, and of course aperitifs at dinnertime, next to its' 19th century fountain. Depending on the time of year, you might be welcomed by a jazz band in the square or a "vide grenier" - the village 'empty attic' - you might find some French treasures!

Sylvie (the property owner - who is working hard on her English), was born and bred in the area. She and her son live in the attached property to the Bastide, and maintain their love of welcoming guests into their very authentic French home. Especially those who will help her practice English!
