My wife & I took our granddaughter to London in late March for her 16th birthday. The apartment, 2 flights of stairs up, was good size with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The large sitting room / dining room looks out over a lovely old church and park. The kitchen has all the conveniences one would expect. Overall the furnishings are a bit worn but functional. The water in both toilets ran continuously which was a slight irritation however they functioned well. One of the best features is it's central location (within 5 minutes of 2 tube stops). The neighborhood is very safe with lite traffic. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at this property in September 2011. We had 6 people and there was plenty of space for all of us. Two private bedrooms (one with an en-suite), an eat-in kitchen and a large lounge room gave us room to co-exist. You can shut the doors to the kitchen and lounge, thus people can be up and having breakfast and not disturb anyone using the sofa bed in the lounge. The high ceilings add to the spaciousness. The flat is in an imposing building and beautiful street, very quiet. Have a look around the neighborhood, there are pubs that serve decent meals, shopping facilities, and easy access to the tube and Hyde Park. Rolf, the manager, was always responsive to our questions and requests.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I am pleased to write a very glowing review of 53 Lancaster Gate. This two bedroom, 2 bathroom flat was excellent!!! All the rooms were clean, spacious, and attractively furnished. I think the flat looked even better in real life than it did in the photos. The location is ideal--just off the Bayswater Road and near the Lancaster Gate tube station. It was close to supermarkets, wine stores, minimarts, restaurants, and pubs. Despite its central location, the flat was amazingly quiet! It is less noisy than my house, and I live in a sleepy North Carolina college town! We had a wondeful time in London. Somehow, the flat owners even arranged for six consecutive days of sunny weather. I would not hesitate a second in recommending the flat to anyone who wants a really nice, comfortable place to stay in London. In fact, I already have.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I were very pleased with both the administration of the apartment and the apartment itself. It lived up to its description on the Internet. The location was great as were the size, comfort, facilities, cleanliness and value for money. We would definitely consider staying there again.

I found the response from your New York Office excellent as I had to make a last minute request & you responded in a very prompt & flexible manner which was really helpful & reassuring. We are back at home in Vancouver, catching up on the 123 e-amils received while we were away. Experiencing a bit of the post holiday doldrums mixed with jet lag. We had a wonderful, jam-packed, exciting time in London. The neigbourhood and your apartment were perfect for us ( and my husband furst wanted to stay in a hotel....!) Good morning, Wanted to drop you a note about our visit. IT WAS FANTASTIC I couldn't imagine coming back and not trying to use this unit. The room - the location - the people - all great Should have called about the washer dryer - but decided we just rinse a few things out by hand. Indeed, a great place to stay! The apartment is clean and comfortable, ina quiet street, but only a few steps away from a libvely street with shops and restaurants. A convenient underground station is a few minutes away. A perfect base for visiting London.
