This property offers everything you could possibly want. The home is just south of Depoe Bay and north of Newport.
The property is beautifully landscaped and maintained by professionals.
Directly in front of the house, in the ocean, is a huge rock formation named "Gull Rock", hence the name.
The home sits on 4 lots and is totally private ocean front. You can sit on your decks and be amazed and mesmerized,
at the wonderful scenery and crashing waves. You can see incredible sunsets, moon, and maybe a Pacific winter storm.
The yard is large and private enough to play croquet, volleyball or soccer. Lots of room for outdoor gatherings.

Area:
You can observe our sea life at it's finest. You may see whales, seal lions, seals, sea otters, pelicans and sea gulls.
Two blocks from this home is a popular area for surfers called "Devils Punch Bowl". In this same area there is a popular
restaurant, a wine tasting facility and a gift shop.
Kitchen:
There is everything you need for your cooking needs. Including a Jenn-Aire stove & oven, refrigerator with an ice
maker, dishwasher and microwave. Many small appliances are also provided.
Sleeping:
There are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. In one of the bedrooms, there is an additional loveseat
that converts into a single pull-out bed. In the gathering room there is also a single sofa sleeper.
Linens:
We provide you with quality linens, towels, matching comforters and comfy pillows.
Dining:
The kitchen has seating for six at the table plus three stools at the breakfast bar. There is a wet bar with a blender
to make your favorite drinks, while you wait for your food to arrive.
Bathrooms:
There are 3 full baths. Each has a hair dryer, body wash, soap, shampoo and cream rinse. We provide fluffy towels.
Entertainment:
This home has 4 satillite TV's, including a large screen in the livingroom. There is WIFI, music and a DVD player.
Perks:
A washer & dryer for your laundry needs. Imagine, a dry swim suit when you return from the ocean or from the hot tub.
Outside your door:
There are 3 decks. The one off the livingroom, boasts a lovely sitting area with a table and chairs, near the gas barbecue.
The second is the one with the hot tub. The third is off the master suite with a table and chairs, to admire the sights.
Hot Tub:
There is a hot tub for six people, on your 2nd deck overlooking the ocean.
Livingroom:
The living room has a river-rock fireplace. Next to the fireplace is a window bench seat with pillows that has incredible
views of the ocean and its magnificent surroundings and sunsets. The high cathedral wood ceilings are very impressive.
Also, a large flat screen TV.
Parking:
There is a garage for your vehicle and storage. There is a long driveway and additional parking close by.
Games:
There is an area for game playing. There's a ping pong table and a foosball table. We have board games and card games.
We provide you with beach chairs, beach towels, lanterns and binoculars.
We are "LOCALS" and we are here to assist you. We personally check you in! No messing around with lock boxes.

My family spent three nights in the wonderful house! It is everything they say it is and more. We loved the view and sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set was amazing! We will definitely be back.

We stayed here with 3 generations and had some lovely grilling, boogie boarding, yard games and whale watching experiences. The house is comfortable and the views fantastic. The area is very special and close to a DNR Outstanding Historical spot and Newport. We would have liked to have known though that the trail to the beach right in front of the house was not going to be accessible for the grandparents, as they were hoping for long beach walks. While it is paved part of the way you have to clamor down and eroded dip and over unstable rocks to reach the beach . If you can tackle about 3-4 stories of stairs you are close to a larger beach for walking and surfing, or boogie boarding as we did with our daughter. The pictures of the house are also a bit misleading, the views looking down make it seem like you have loft but it is not a usable space for renters. You are on a quiet, dead end road in a small neighborhood, but the front of the house is private so that is nice feeling for a getaway.
Owner response:In response to the guest comments: There is no reference in any pictures or in the description, that says there is a loft, in this home. The high shot was to give an overall picture of the living area. This is to show that the area has an open concept. The guest assumed, on their own, that there was a loft. This picture was taken from a tall ladder and it shows that we have very high ceilings. As far as the walk to the beach, it has never been stated that the walk to the beach is designed for anyone, in their golden years. If the question would have been asked, I would have stated the following: "Sometimes there are rocks to go over and sometimes with the high winds and high surf, it can get a bit eroded. It depends on the curent weather conditions." In addition to the path that is the direct access, in front of the home, there are steps a block away, that the guest mentioned, if you don't want to walk down the path to the beach, this gives you another option. Hopefully, this clears up any questions regarding this beautiful ocean front home. We have always received a 5* report on all of our property's. We would not want this report to lower our report scores.

We just got back from spending 8 nights at this home. It was such an awesome experience!! Plenty of room for our family of 4 plus extended family who came to visit. Awesome view of the ocean from the bay window inside and the three decks outside. Hot tub was great! The trail down to the beach located next to the house was a real bonus. We visited other beaches in the area (Nye Beach, Agate Beach) and "our" beach was by far the best. Nice sand for our kids to play with, tide pools and caves to explore, rocky beach to look for agates, shells and sea glass. A very short walk to Devil's Punchbowl where you can watch surfers and get awesome chowder at Mo's West (though I understand they are not open year round). C.B. and John were awesome to work with. Very attentive to our needs/requests. I highly recommend! My only hesitation to recommend this location is that it will become too popular and it will be hard to book in the future.

Excellent, easy to find location. Amazing view of the ocean. We were their in mid June 2010 and hit the low tide for the year, great to walk out and enjoy the beach and tide pools. We were actually able to get into the Devils Punch Bowl the tide was so low! The house had everything you could need/want. Hot Tub was nice and comfortable. Was very nice to have the property managers actually check us in and show us around. Had two teens along and they loved the ping pong table. Would come back in a heart beat!

what a great property ! my friends and i stayed here in mid-january, and were treated to a lightning show on the last evening :) great amenities, plenty of room for guests, management team is friendly and accomodating ! will definitely be coming back here in the future.

We stayed with friends over the thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable and the location ideal. Ended up surfing all days and having some mean ping pong game tournaments in the evenings. Be sure to open up the door in the garage to top off any touranments with the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. The hot tub was fantastic to top off a day of surfing.

I just stayed here with some girlfriends for several days during the first week of October 2009. What a pleasure! The bottom line is that I would return here in an instant. The house is lovely: quiet, comfortable and easy to use; and the website's description accurately reflects its amenities. Both the view from the house and proximity to the little beach are draws, enticing one to walk down the short path to the beach to observe the "marine gardens" at lower tides: bright green seagrass, pelicans, rock formations! (Take care at the bottom of the path if you are not nimble, as erosion and sand make it slippery.) While there's much to explore nearby, and it's unnecesary to travel further to have a rich experience here. And while we were fortunate to experience warm and sunny weather, I can imagine an enjoyable stay at this house even during dreary weather. You'll find the management to be accessible, responsive, and thorough. I hope to be back with my family.
