Nestled in the woods is this Romantic Log Cabin for those who wish to pause, rest the body, refresh the mind, and lift the spirit. Lean back in your front porch rockers or swing and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. Don't be surprised to see a family of deer wander by to look you over or hear one of those many wild turkeys gobbling in the distance.
This Guest House is a perfect place for a honeymoon or a memorable get-away retreat. Leave the worries of the city behind and relax in the double garden Jacuzzi in the master bedroom. Enjoy a warm and cozy fire on those cool winter evenings. The loft overlooks the cozy den. You'll find something beautiful to see, something exciting to do and make memories that will last for a lifetime.
There's a lot to do in and around this area. Golf at Callaway Gardens or Overlook Golf Links. Callaway Gardens is one of the world's largest, most diverse and unique resort. Swimming and sunning on mile long Robin Lake Beach with paddleboats and miniature golf, etc.
Roosevelt State Park enjoy hiking, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and picnic areas. Dowdell's Knob, Franklin D. Roosevelt's favorite picnic spot, overlooks a magnificent view of Pine Mountain Valley. Just ten minutes away is Historic Town, Warm Springs, home of Franklin D. Roosevelt 's "Little White House" and Museum, take a tour and stroll along the walkway of 50 state flags and stones.
Downtown Pine Mountain is just ten minutes from our cabin with its great antiques, local crafts, and restaurants. Be sure to stop by Antique Junction, Mountain Creek and other shops for a variety of collectibles and antiques. Try out the many restaurants such as San Marcose Mexican, Three Little Pigs Barbecue, Pine Mountain Gourmet Cafe' for great sandwiches and Blue Bell ice cream, Fox's Pizza for a fabulous pizza. For elegant dining try Cricket's in Pine Mountain, Aspen's Mountain Grill (706-663-2001) in Pine Mountain (Chipley Vallage) or Oscar's Steak and Seafood in Warm Springs.
Best Kept Secrets: Overlook Golf Links (706-845-7425) is a great golf course for much less than Callaway Gardens.

Our stay was very comfortable and quiet. Cabin was just beautiful, we had all the comforts of home. We will be back.

This cabin was loaded with extras! We enjoyed our visit so much there are not enough positive adjectives to describe it. We would highly recommend this Cabin to everyone. We went for the Fantasy in Lights at Callaway Gardens and were so surprised to see the cabin decorated for Christmas complete with a Christmas Tree! Our two daughters were so excited to stay in a cabin with it's very own Christmas Tree. Friends of ours rented another cabin and it didn't have any decorations so we felt very lucky. The Cabin was VERY CLEAN, warm, cozy and very comfortable. There were too many extra touches to list, but just step in the front door and you know this Cabin is loved and very well taken care of. We had such a special time, we are already planning a return trip and will only stay in the Schofield's Guest House, we will be planning our trip around the availability of this cabin. The owners were very helpful and all contact with them was a pleasure. I honestly cannot say enough great things about our stay. Our only regret is we did not stay long enough.

Hi Nina! I just wanted to tell you that we had a great time at your cabin this weekend. You have such a beautiful place. We would love to come up in the fall with our kids and stay again. We have friends and family who do a lot of traveling and we have told them how wonderful your place is. We stayed in this cabin in May for our anniversary and really enjoyed it. The Cabin was just as explained in the listing and it was very quite. We will go back as we did had to leave on a family emergency.

Thanks for the great directions, we had a wonderful stay. The weather Friday was not good. We were tired of driving around in the rain and came into the cabin a few hrs early...I failed to bring our camera, but did remember the video camera. We spent the Christmas weekend and made lots of special memories for our children! The cabin was clean, modern and as comfortable as home! The atmosphere drove all the 'work stresses' away!!!! I have already recommended it to friends and are planning to return! Great time!
