This adorable one-story two-bedroom, two-bath pet-friendly home with a view from the new deck is well equipped. In addition to adding new appliances for the kitchen and a new full size washer and dryer, we have added a new large deck to enjoy the crisp cool mountain air, ceiling fans, free wireless Internet for your laptop, LCD TVs with DVD players in the bedrooms, digital cable (expanded) for your TV viewing on the 32-inch LCD TV, and CD player. Also added this summer is a new heat pump to keep you warm on those cold mountain evenings. The living room also has a great stone wood fireplace.
This home is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic weekend or a family looking for that great mountain - skiing experience. You will appreciate the fact that it is just under .5 of a mile to the Ski Beech resort and Sugar is an easy drive down the mountain. During the summer, Grandfather Mountain is a quick drive away as well as Linville Falls and Linville Caverns. Beech Mountain Club privileges available through VCI.
Plenty of parking is available as the cabin is at the end of the road. Most importantly, it is an easy drive from the entrance to Ski Beech where the state ends its maintenance of the roads. Going any further up the mountain can get quite scary on those icy roads.
There is access to hiking trails and several bike routes to explore the area. New mountain biking trails coming this summer! There are many beautiful hiking trails from easy to hard with waterfalls and streams. Down in Banner Elk you can book guided Cave tours or tubing and rafting adventures. Come and enjoy the mountains of the high country!

We bought our property in Beech Mountain in December 2008. We have worked hard to make it a comfortable place to stay and have our friends and future renters stay.

We love the mountains, skiing and snowboarding and going hiking. It is close to Grandfather mountain and many other natural wonders.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us - and so many more! This was the perfect location for skiing, sledding and just winter fun! Our family is here to participate in the adaptive ski program with my nephew - and it was a blast! He rocked at skiing and we all had such a great time. It was also great that we could bring our four legged family member (Grace). She also had fun romping in the snow and chasing squirrels. The hot tub is the best I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying - great

Absolutely Stunning lodge, so well thought out and equipped. We were so impressed! We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We all enjoyed skiing and sledding. The weather was great minus the rain we had. We would refer our friends here with no questions asked! Thank you for giving us a great place to put our heads down at night!
