This is a brand new listing! This is our first season renting the Black Diamond Retreat. We've just finished fully-furnishing and decorating the retreat. We know that you'll be pleased with the quality and newness of this vacation rental. Our property is located just ten minutes down the canyon, home of Alta and Snowbird Ski Resorts. The entire home is 8500 square feet total, and situated on a very secluded park-like acre of land. It is surrounded by huge privacy trees. 2200 square feet of separate space (1st level full apartment) is the Black Diamond Retreat. There is a seperate double/french door entrance into the rental unit. If you are looking for a very cozy & private Utah retreat for you, your friends and family members, you'll be very pleased with our property. The Retreat is professionally decorated in lodge decor.
There is plenty of space for a couple of families to stay & you'll have everything that you need!! We even offer discount ski passes and restaurant vouchers. You'll be pampered with a complimentary gift basket and bedtime chocolates, as well as an optional stocked fridge for your choice of meals or catering service*. We aim to please and will go the extra mile for our guests to be completely comfortable during their stay at Black Diamond Retreat; and discount vouchers to return year after year for their vacations. We also discount for extended stay vacations (over 5 days)*. Come and experience the Black Diamond Retreat and soak each evening in our amazing new hot tub spa! Why the Owner Chose Sandy
It's been a dream of ours to live near the ski resorts in Utah. That dream became a reality in 2008! We enjoy an 8500 square foot home, nestled on an acre of privacy park-like landscaping. 2200 square feet of which is the Black Diamond Retreat (totally seperate outside entrance). Utah has "the best snow on earth"! Salt Lake City, Utah was also the home of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. It has been a pleasure to welcome guests to ski the amazing ski slopes of Utah. We have awesome outdoor activities year-round. From waterskiing and hiking to snow-skiing, Utah's four seasons accomodate all of our family's hobbies and interests!

You'll enjoy a very roomy, 2200 square-foot unit, with cozy lodge decor, including two fireplaces, which add to the ambience that you won't get any place else. This property is located at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon and only a couple miles from the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Very close to both the main ski resorts, excellent restaurants, movie theaters, and 30 min. from the Salt Lake International Airport. If you're looking for comfort and pampering, you've found the perfect place!

Sixteen years ago, when we met and got married, we quickly decided we would plant our roots in the great state of Utah. We absolutely love the mountains; and camping, 4-wheeling, hiking, biking and skiing are some of the passions we love to do as a family. When the opportunity arose to buy our dream home at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon, we jumped at the chance. We now enjoy breath-taking views of the mountains everyday! And waking up to that, how could we not want to share just how lucky we are to have such great access to do the things that bring our family so much enjoyment? Snowbird and Alta are amazing resorts and we truly enjoy skiing the world's best powder!!
