The condo has a large airy master bedroom with king bed and private bath. The den off of the living room converts into a second bedroom by closing a folding door which also then has a private bath. Matching queen-size sleeper sofas in the living room and den make ample room for extra guests. The condo is fully furnished, including tennis rackets, two sets of golf clubs and pool and beach accessories.
Bird Bay Village is known for its many amenities -- three heated pools, 18 hole par 3 golf course, club house with a busy schedule of varied activities, shuffle board, tennis courts, and is next to the new Legacy Trail walking/biking trail.
Charming, historic downtown Venice, only five minutes away, has unique resort-wear and specialty shops, delicious and one-of-a-kind restaurants. Lovely gulf beaches are known for shelling and fossilized sharks teeth. Sarasota is only 20 minutes to the north, with a larger urban flair.

Our family lives in the Chicago area and come down to Venice as often as we can. We enjoy the relaxed, un-crowded and friendly atmosphere of Bird Bay Village very much, as did Jack's parents before us. We've often commented that Venice reminds us of what Hemmingway's Florida would be like. When we want to do something, though, Bird Bay, Venice and the surrounding area offers a lot to do. We hope you will enjoy a piece of our Floridian paradise.
