Our family LOVES the ocean. There is nothing better to us than feeling the sand between our toes and salty scent of the ocean breeze.

Harwich still has that quintessential "Old Cape" feel - wild roses and hydrangeas in summer, weathered clapboards, homemade ice cream and friendly shop owners. We arrive and instantly feel like we've been transported to a simpler time.

Laughing Lobster Cottage is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood in South Harwich. We awaken every morning to the sounds of birds who nest in the Conservation land across from our home. Shell-laden Red River Beach is just a 12-minute stroll down the road. At the end of the day, we return home to soak in the Jacuzzi, grill dinner and enjoy a family movie or pool game in the basement media/game room.
