If you are looking for a place at the beach with the feel of a charming but updated traditional Florida beach cottage, 'Picture Perfect' is the place for you. We are just 5-7 minutes from Pier Park and all the fun family beach activities but worlds away in terms of the privacy and quaint setting of this home.
Picture Perfect is a recently remodeled single family Gulf front beach house on the quiet west end of Panama City Beach. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It sleeps 6 adults and 4 kids or up to 9 adults comfortably. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the guest bedroom, bunks in the kids' bedroom with a full bed on the bottom, twin on top and a twin trundle bed. There is also a queen sofa sleeper. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with new cabinets, counter tops, and appliances. The kitchen, dining, and living area are open with a picture perfect view of the Gulf.
The interior description only begins to tell the story of this home. The real draw is the outdoor space and the beach. There is a large screened-in porch across the back of the house with loungers and a table and chairs. What a great place to wind down at the end of the day while you enjoy the sunset over the Gulf and your favorite libation. Just outside the screened-in porch is a fairly new wooden deck which is in great shape. A few steps down from there is a second wooden deck, which is an ideal place for you and your family to take in the stars and the sound of the waves after enjoying a perfectly grilled meal on the back porch.
Just a few steps down from the lower deck is your private path to your semi-private section of the 'World's Most Beautiful Beach.' The dune system is intact in this area and the house is set back from the beach a perfect distance. This is as nice a beach as you will find in the area. Pictures do not begin to do this property justice.
There are many choices in the area but few properties will compare to the quiet, charming, authentic feel of Picture Perfect. It is an unpretentious comfortable beach cottage waiting to provide a home for your perfect beach vacation.

My family and I had an amazing stay at the Picture Perfect in Panama City! The home was fully furnished, and very clean. The screened in porch was an absolute dream, and the deck with the firepit was great for making smores. The kids loved it! We had three children with us, and the room with the bunk beds was perfect for them. We all hated to leave! There were two grocery stores very close, which made it very convenient when we had to just run out and get something. The home was exactly as the pictures showed in the listing. It is about a five to ten minute drive to Pier Park, which is what we liked. We were away from the commercial part of town, but it wasn't too far to drive. A very nice, relaxing, fun time at the beach! Thank you for allowing us to stay in the home.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My husband and I spent one glorious week at Picture Perfect. The unit is aboslutely wonderful. I especially liked the screened in patio for late night and early morning meditation to the sound of the ocean. The landscaping gives complete privacy while still lending a great view of the ocean. My husband loved the lower deck with the fire pit . . . the pit came in handy for our weekly dance night as the October evenings can be a bit chilly. We had a perfect unobstructed view of the sunset from either deck. We definitely plan to return!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

1st of All --- What you read & see in the description is Accurate. AWESOME!!! The rental & check-in process was way to EZ. "Picture Perfect" The Home Away from Home was just that, very clean & cozy. You could not ask for anything better if you are looking for a comfortable relaxing stay ON THE BEACH. We had College & High School age children w/ us and never heard a word out of them in regards to BOREDOM. The Beach was never crowded and ENJOY'd being able to wake up w/ the sound of the surf and to drink your AM coffee in the sand. This was our 1st Beach Experience and we had a Great time and could not find a fault w/ this rental.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

We recently stayed at Picture Perfect with our three children (ages 7, 2 and 1) and loved it. The home was beautiful, super clean (pictures don't do it justice). The wood ceilings and photos taken by the owner added to the ambience. Our kids loved looking at all the pictures and picking their favorites - the bunk beds were a definite hit with them as well. The double deck and porch area was a plus - we loved setting outside at night listening to the waves crashing on the beach. We never built a fire in the fire pit, but had plenty of fun enjoying the night air though. The convenience to grocery stores was helpful while being away from all the congestion of the downtown PCB area. Can't think of a single negative :-)Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

This home was perfect for my family's needs. We can't think of any negatives. The location is ideal at the west end of the beach near grocery stores and Pier Park, yet away from the noise of the strip. Everything we needed to get started was provided, and we immediately felt at home. All the amenities such as WiFi, enclosed garage, screened porch, and decks with a fire pit made our stay even more enjoyable. The property is actually prettier than the pictures reveal, and was very clean. Booking the property was simple, and the owner was cordial and professional. I look forward to returning next year!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Our family visited this property for Spring Break 2012 and were pleasantly surprised with how great this home was. Our friends were staying in Rosemary Beach, and due to late booking the usual spot was taken, so we found this one last minute. This home turned out to be our favorite! We were a quick 5 minutes to 30A and RIGHT ON THE WATER. Our kids love getting up early to collect shells while we sat on the lower deck and had coffee and watched them play. We slept with the windows open each night to the smell and sounds of the waves just outside the master bedroom. We ate dinner and breakfast, most days, on the screen porch, which was lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed, and a great updated Keurig coffee maker and appliances. Also the photos on VRBO do not do the home justice as it is way more beautiful that the pictures allow. Great furniture, decorations, appliances and electronics. We will definitely plan to visit again and have recommended it to our friends for the future!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I am an avid scuba diver with a passion for underwater photography. Throughout the house you will see photos that I have taken over the years at many of my favorite diving venues. My hope is that the photos convey the spectacular colors and aquatic fauna that drive my passion and that they give you a flavor for the origin of the name - 'Picture Perfect'.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
My family and I have been living in this area for years. When we go to the beach we want to feel like we have left the area to go on vacation. A stay at Picture Perfect is like a step back in time. Time almost stands still when we are there and we always leave the house feeling refreshed. We love the house and the west end of Panama City Beach and hope you will appreciate it as much as we do.

The real draw of the house is everything in the back - the screened in porch, the two tiered deck and our own patch of paradise on the beach. When we are in the back we feel like we have complete privacy. Our favorite thing is to hang out on the beach during the day and then enjoy a filet on the grill in the evening along with a cold one.
