Best beach rental in Fort Lauderdale

I've been coming to Fort Lauderdale twice a year for some years now and I've stayed in many different rental properties. Thanks to Mike and Regina, this is the best one I've stayed in to date. The pictures and the description listed here do not describe what you will find when you arrive. I will no longer seek different properties each time. I've booked my next two stays with them already. Checking in and checking out were completely with out incident and everything, (I mean everything) was provided for me when I arrived. Most homes state everything is provided, but I've stayed in enough to say not every owner knows what that statement means. This couple has added new meaning to the words "everything is provided". There was fruit and wine when I arrived, and water in the fridge. All homes include linens but this home includes 5 star hotel linens. Everything I needed for the beach, which is approximately 30 steps from the front door, is also included (snorkeling, swimming, towels, chairs, bikes). I was amazed. The pool is crystal clear and private, the outdoor furniture makes eating out instead of in another great experience. There was an electrical issue on a Friday night after hours, I called Michael, and he had an electrician there within the hour on a Friday night (amazing), it turns out the problem was outside at the pole and the electric company came and took care of that issue. I was so amazed with this property, I'm actually thinking of adding a third trip in 2012 to bring some friends with me. Once again, thank you Michael and Regina for setting the standard for the other rental properties in the area. Can't wait to come back.

Our family of 5 spent Christmas week 2010 in this beautiful cottage and we are so happy to have done so! It is in the most ideal location - 30 seconds to the beach (but not right on it, so no people looking into your yard), a few minutes walk to Walgreen's and several good restaurants, yet nestled in a quiet private little neighborhood away from the hub-bub. The patio and pool area were well used and apprecaited, as well as the BBQ. This home is fully stocked so you will be in want of nothing (they even have an electric hand-mixer!) Owners are very charming and quick to respond to any questions or needs you may have. Plenty of local information available. We would definitely recommend this rental for anyone looking at the Fort Lauderdale area - in town, but totally private and quiet. Thank you!

exquisite beachfront gem

We stayed here 9/18-9/25 and it was absolutely perfect. The photos don't do it justice. We especially enjoyed dining out al fresco on the large patio. Everything here was the best, from the plush towels and bed linens to the extremely well-stocked kitchen and pantry. Steps from the beach and a short walk to Walgreen's and a great Italian bakery but nestled on a quiet lane of lovely homes.

Perfect vacation house!

We just came back from a 1-week vacation in this beautiful house. Let's just say it met all our expectations. The area around the pool is ideal for cooking your own meals and sipping a cocktail or a glass of wine. The master bedroom is huge. Since we were visiting with another couple, we tossed a coin to determine who would get it! We lost... but our friends were delighted. The second bedroom is much smaller, but very nice as well. The beach is a couple of steps away, very convenient. We visited Hollywood and Miami Beach, both of them in a near distance. We recommend this location very strongly as every detail was tought of for a great vacation!

Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We just returned from a fabulous trip and this house and location is amazing. It is a perect setting and the home is very accomodating...if you forgot anything, it's probably there. If it's not, Walgreens is across the street. Not only do the bedrooms open up to the pool, but the kitchen and living room do as well...tvs are in living room and both bedrooms, 2 tables outside by pool as well as gas grill and charcoal grill. This place was great...there is a book the landlord made up for local restaurants, sights to see, stores nearby, etc, plus maps and information. The WiFi came in handy as well as washer/dryer. The pictures on the website do not do the house justice...it is adorable and well-maintained. The neighborhood is ideal for morning walks and it is wonderful to have the beach only several yards away...can go for a few minutes and don't need to pack everything up. We certainly will be back...very reasonably priced, especially for the great location and accomodations...I can't say enough about what a great place this is! Incredible!

This house is the perfect get away spot - it has absolutely everything you would need! The location is ideal - across from the beach and within walking distance from many restaurants and small groceries. The house was spotless - as was the pool and patio area. It has a washer & dryer which helped us with packing light. They also have towels and beach chairs.
