New construction...remodeled from ground up in 2009. Adorable and wonderful. Perfect location, 5 blocks easy walk to beach and 4 blocks walk to Ocean avenue. Many great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The house was built with luxury in mind...the best appliances...Sub Zero, Bosch and a Bertozzoni oven! Surround sound with in wall/ceiling speakers with IPOD dock. 2 Flat Panel TVs. Fountain in front yard.
There is a peek of the ocean from upstairs bedroom and you can hear the waves on Carmel Beach at night. All brand new mattresses with linens are provided. A wine cabinet, with wine! for your use and enjoyment. The owners travel often and stayed in many homes in Carmel before purchasing this one....they know what people desire when coming to Carmel. This place has it all! Charm, comfort, luxury, parking! It is far enough from town to avoid parking/traffic congestion but close enough to walk with ease to shop and dine.
3 bedrooms plus an office. Master bedroom downstairs with CA King bed and LCD TV. Two upstairs bedrooms with queen and two twin beds. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Wood burning fireplace in family room and gas fire pit in backyard. Large Gas bar-b-que on backward deck. Housekeeping can be made available mid-week...grocery shopping can be done for you before your arrival.

Due to Carmel By The Sea vacation house regulations, we cannot rent
to more than one party within a 30 day period. Rates are based on monthly rate
but can be pro-rated to weekly rate (minimum stay in high season is 6 nights)
Rates during ATT Pro Am Golf, Concourse, Jazz Festival
and major holidays are premium time: $9000 per month/$2,700 week
Low Season: November-April: $6,200 per month/$1,800 week
High Season: May-October: $7,400 per month/$2,100 week

Why the Owner Chose Carmel By the Sea
Since I was a teenager, I have dreamed of owning a cottage near the ocean in this fairy tale town called Carmel. Finally realized that dream in June of 2009. Before buying a place there, my husband and I often rented vacation cottages for weeks and months at a time and really wanted to one day be able to offer our home away from home to other people.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The cottage is 5 minutes walking time to the Carmel beach, 7 minute walk to back gate of Pebble Beach, 5 minutes walking time to shopping and dining. I love the coastline and one of the prettiest, by far, is at Point Lobos, 10 minute drive south on Highway 1. You can hike in the morning through either forests or in the sand...nap all day and dine at world class restaurants that evening. It truly doesn't get better than that.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely Carmel home. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with all the conveniences and necessities you could want, close at hand. It is in a great location several blocks from Ocean St; far enough away to feel serene and peaceful, yet only a 5 minute walk to town or the beach. We'd definitely stay here again! Highly recommended for families, couples, or small groups of friends.

This home combines luxury with an unbeatable location. The photos do not do it justice. It's brand-new with thoughtful details throughout. The location is incredible. Just a short stroll to the beach and to town. We have two young children who made the walk to town and the beach several times each day. We cooked every meal at home-- so fun to have a high-end chef's kitchen while on vacation. We've stayed at the finest hotels and countless VRBO properties, and this one tops them all. This was our second stay, and we can't wait to come back again. Thank you so much for opening your lovely home to us.

Our daughter and son-in-law booked your cottage last summer and invited my husband and I to join them for the week. We had a splendid time, with fog-blanketed quiet mornings cuddled with our grandchildren, long hours on the beach, a carefree drive to Big Sur, visits with long-lost Esselen cousins. It was absolutely perfect. I have never enjoyed myself as much in any other holiday home away from home. Everything about this property was tasteful and comfortable, and we simply fell in love with the place. On Christmas Eve, our son-in-law announced that our familiy be going back to this same lovely spot this August, and I can hardly wait. Thank you for making such a cozy, delightful and thoroughly memorable place available for guests like us. All the very best in the New Year! And for others considering this property, you will look long and hard to find owners who put more care into making their guests comfortable and satisfied. We've traveled a lot and have rented flats and cottages all over the world. This property and this owner are right up there at the very top of our list :-)

I can't imagine a more pleasant locale for a Carmel getaway. This new home is appointed beautifully, has all the modern conveniences, and is extremely convenient to either the beach or to Carmel's fabulous galleries, shopping and dining.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to anyone. It can be a very quiet, romantic hideaway for a couple, but also can be an ideal spot for a family, as it has a very generous backyard.

A dream come true, indeed! Your home is the defintion of a perfect Carmel cottage. It's sparkling, immaculate, and so very tranquil. Love the elegant yet cozy decor, and the brand-newness of the home-- it felt like we were the first people to set foot in it. The location is beyond compare. We loved the short stroll to the beach and world-class shopping and restaurants. When we wanted to dine in, we found that the kitchen had top-of-the-line everything! The kids's fave was roasting marshmallows on the fire pit each night. I loved your Carmel picture and history books, and the way you infused the location with the decor. We felt pampered and right at home at the same time. You thought of everything. Thanks so much for a memorable stay. Cannot wait to go back!
