It was our first time on Eluthera. We made arrangements to stay one night at Hut Pointe. Upon arrival, the condo was lovely. Large, clean, and very tastefully decorated. We arrived after a long day of travel and did not have a rental car. We had minimal snacks with us. Brendan (our hero of the day) was so nice to offer us a ride to Coco Di Mama resort so that we could eat dinner. Adelaine, Brendan, and the rest of the family were such good people and good hosts. Although there is no beach on the grounds, the gardens that surround you are breathtaking. Just a short walk away is the Sky Beach Club, which allows Hut Pointe guests to use their facilities if you purchase food/drinks (not a problem, it's vacation after all, right?) The beach was amazing. Pink sand and the bluest water you'll ever see. And the best part, not a soul on the beach! The only drawback of Hut Pointe is that it is on the only major road on Eluthera so you will have to endure some road noise at night. Otherwise, a wonderful stay!

We loved Hut Pointe Inn. The rooms were really large and very clean and the location is great and makes it easy to get to everywhere on the island. The owners told us to rent a car to explore the island which was very good advice. The hotel is not right on the beach, but all of the beaches that you want to go to on the island don't have hotels on them anyway. We did not know what to expect and maybe we were thinking it is like Nassau or other Bahamas islands, but Eleuthera is different, so all you really need is a good place to lay your head at night and that is what we found. The price is great and we thought it was the best deal around because you get 2 bedrooms plus the kitchen and it is really like an apartment which was a very nice surprise. Our friends stayed in a rental house and it was a mess, so we had them to come to stay with us in the end. If you are looking for a well run, clean, large place to stay on Eleuthera this is it.

Hut Pointe offers spacious, updated, immaculately clean guest rooms. The owners go way out of their way to provide excellent service and advice about the island. Thier personlaized service was greatly appreciated. We received frequent hints and tips before we arrived on the island. If you want quality accommodations near the water with friendly owners you can't go wrong with the Hut Pointe Inn.

I had the pleasure of staying @ Hut Pointe last month, and have to say it was like 'home away from home' in paradise. The suite was lovely and pristine; could eat off the floors, and the owners, Adelaide & Brendan, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional...The grounds are stunning and well-manicured & location is ideal..So close to the beautiful beaches. I would go back in a heartbeat and intend to very soon! A real 'Find' and highly recommend to the discerning traveller.

If you're looking for a great spot and warm hospitality - you must check out Hut Point while on Eluthra. Its convenient to the airport and local shops. The room we stayed in had a spacious living / dining / kitchen area; two bedrooms (one with a queen and one with two twins) and a good sized bathroom. It was very comfortable and had we stayed longer we would have had everything we needed - including a coffee maker, and appliances to cook meals.

By far the nicest Inn on the island. central, easy access to the whole island, excellent amenities. Perhaps most impressive was the hospital cleanliness and generous size of the suites. I've traveled extensively and am sensitive to grubby and too small rooms. These folks have really done a great job bringing this classic property back to top shape. I should also mention the peace and quiet...i'm a light sleeper so this was a nice find.

I stayed at Hut Point for 3 weeks and it was amazing! The rooms where big, the garden was beautiful, beaches and restaurant's were very close by. I loved that place!!! Great service as well! My room was always clean and people were so nice!

We stayed at Hut Pointe for a week and just loved it! We were so surprised with the quality of the accommodations...our room was so much larger and nicer than we anticipated for the price. Everything was spotless and the manager, Kathy, checked on us daily to make sure that we were happy. She also brought us some veggies from their organic garden for dinner! We arranged our stay with the owner, Adelaide and she was so helpful with lots of ideas for things to do for ourselves and our kids. We will definitely be back!

I stayed here for 5 days and could not have had a better experience. The property was clean, well cared for and the rooms were huge! The owner was very knowledgeable about activities and restaurants on the island in addition to being available whenever I needed something. I have already recommended the property to several friends, but you truly have to see it to believe. It more than exceeded my expectations on many accounts. Overall, a fantastic place to stay and enjoy a little sunshine!

Hut Pointe is located on the main road at the center of the island, so it's easy to get anywhere you need to go. The apartments are cool and clean, and the owners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Kathy, the housekeeper/manager was also wonderful and was very helpful with all kinds of tips. My little girl loved her.

My wife and I stayed at Hut Pointe Inn for about 8 days -- loved every minute! It's the perfect place to stay on Eleuthera. Minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches on the planet, very good restaurants, and the Governor's Harbour fish fry, immaculately clean (and cleaned daily), spacious, comfortable, and, on top of everything, a great bargain. The owners also went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Make sure you rent a car to properly enjoy the island. We are definitely coming back to Hut Pointe!

My friend and I stayed at Hut Point Inn in July of 2011. The owners, Adelaide and Brendan, as well as their two wonderful daughters, made it feel like home for the two weeks we were there. The apartment was beautiful and we were always happy to come back to it each day. Not only did Kathy (the housekeeper) make sure our rooms were clean, but every morning she greeted us warmly, ensuring we had whatever we needed. We were extremely pleased with the amenities including a well-stocked kitchen, air conditioning, TV (with more channels than I have in NYC!) and WiFi, all that worked quite well. If there was anything else we needed, Kathy, Brendan or Adelaide made sure we got it immediately. In addition to ensuring we had what we needed, Adelaide and Brendan's kindness and generosity was incomparable. They were always there to offer suggestions for acitivies, advice for traveling around the island, or just wonderful conversation. When I return to Eleuthra, I cannot imagine staying anywhere other than Hut Pointe.

My friend and I stayed at Hut Pointe for two weeks this past month and we had an amazing time. Everyone there was extremely friendly and easy going. The family who owns the building were there to help in every way possible and Kathy (the woman who cleans the apartment) was there every morning to greet us and recommend activities for us to do. We both had a great time and we will definitely go back.

Nearest restaurant is the Bistro at Sky Beach Resort. No views of beach, but nice garden view. Caretaker, Kathy Davis, was very nice and always asking if anything needed. Other Take plenty of cash! Gas, many restaurants, etc only accept cash.

We came here in May after a business trip in Florida. Hut Pointe was great -- big 2 bedroom apartment, spotless, friendly, good central location. It's a short walk from here to a nearly empty Atlantic beach with pink-white sand. A car is necessary to stay here though as you have to drive to get to town, restaurants, other beaches. We enjoyed the unspoiled, unhurried charm of the island and all our encounters with locals, retirees from the U.S. and Europe, and other tourists who like off the beaten track places. I've traveled all over and don't believe I've ever experienced more beautiful beaches. Great restaurants too . . . but you don't come here for shopping.:) We'll return.

We started our vacation with 4 nights on Eleuthera. We stayed at the Beautiful Hut Pointe. Our 2 bedroom condo was clean, well kept, had AC, free Wi-fi, a well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The living area was perfect for our family of 4 to relax after a busy day of exploring and relaxing on the many beaches. Hut Pointe is only 4 miles from the airport and centrally located on the island, so we spent one day exploring beaches and towns to the south and another day to the north. The owners are wonderful and will help with any information you might need before you arrive. The staff is also wonderful and if you want to use fresh ingredients from the garden, they are more than happy to help. Only 5 minutes walk from Sky Beach and their club pool which you are welcome to use at anytime. We easily took a day trip to Harbour Island and the drive wasn't so bad because we started off centrally located. I can't say enough about our stay at Hut Pointe, except that even though Atlantis was quite an experience, we secretly desired to be back on Eleuthera, sunbathing on almost deserted beaches, and after a busy day, sleeping in our quiet condo at Hut Pointe. We will be back!

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. Wow, what an island! Off the beaten path, but that's what we love. Due to the length of the island, we wanted to explore a little of it all, so we booked our stay at Hut Pointe to see the North and Central part of the island. It was a perfect choice and our host/owner of the Inn, Adelaide, had graciously sent us helpful information about car rentals and sight-seeing in advance which really helped and got us excited for our trip. Our trip was to celebrate the great progress I was making fighting stage four esophageal cancer. While at Hut Pointe we were able to watch the 'Ride for Hope' bicycle race the island hosts annually to raise funds for cancer research and treatment for their residents. How inspiring this was and we were sure to cheer participants on and tell them of the great progress I was making with the help of God, family and a great medical team! The Inn has a real charm and elegance to it as it was designed and built with "old-world" craftsmanship and quality. The recent remodel done by the owners made us feel like we were staying in a first class hotel, but had two bedrooms and a kitchen to use as well. It was very spacious for just the two of us (my wife and I). This would also be great for a family or two couples. Located centrally on the island, it's logistics are perfect to access just about anything you'd like. For the southern tour of the island, due to it's remoteness, we did book other accommodations but you could still access that area if you're not opposed to a little travel. The scenery is spectacular, so how bad is that? The owners are very eco-minded as well as concerned for the local community. They have one of the most beautiful vegetable gardens I've ever seen that they give to whoever is in need from their local town. We had a fabulous time and look forward to the time we are able to visit Hut Pointe once again.

Having just returned from Eleuthera, I can positively say my experience at Hut Pointe was one of the most relaxing vacations I have had in a very long time. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The whole property was just beautiful. Myself and my fiance travel quite frequently, and we both agree this was one of our best vacations in a very long time. She is already hinting we should be booking our return very soon.

“A spacious, polished and well-equipped suite - great hub from which to explore the rest of Eleuthera.” I only stayed one nite at Hut Pointe, but I should have stayed for a week. Each room includes an ample LR, full kitchen, and 2 very comfy BRs with high quality beds. Great place for 2 couples or 4 family members - no better value on the island. The rooms are setup like a modern condo, somewhat of an oasis among the other moderately priced places on the island. One can expect to reach Gov harbor and the great beaches there within a 10 min drive, as the Inn is located on the main (and only legit) road on the island. The owners Adelaide and Brendan have done a fabulous job making this Inn into a great launching point for a visit to all of Eleuthera - and were wonderful hosts to this traveler.

“Perfect apartments - perfect hosts - you cannot get better on Eleuthera” We stayed here for a fantastic 2 weeks, the apartments are big, clean, well equipped and maintained, air conditioned , free wi-fi and everything that you need to have a great stay! Location is great, just a 5 minute walk to a superb sandy beach at Sky Beach (great restaurant and pool - try the Key Lime pie it is FANTASTIC!) ..just a 5 minute drive to Cocodimama (great beach and fantastic restaurant) , 10 minutes drive to The Beach House restaurant, Tippys and Banks Deli, all on great beaches, and just down the road from governors harbour where there are some good grocery stores and the excellent Friday night fish fry down by the sea. Kathy, the manageress, will look after your day to day needs and is always about, shes great and a real help. The owners Adelaide and Brendan I am proud to call my friends (great dinner out last night THANK YOU!!) and of course their charming young daughter Mia making up a lovely family here that will ensure your stay is just right. We cannot recommend this lovely home from home highly enough :)

We were advised by a couple other hotel managers that Hut Pointe was the best place to stay and I must say they were right. We came to this place when our original accommodations turned out to be a major disappointment. Hut Pointe has the most modern conveniences to offer for short term stays at a very fair cost. The units are large, airy, and immaculate, with very posh furniture. The owners take great pride in offering the best – manicured grounds, the most modern water systems with rainwater at our disposal and well maintained building. The handbook in the unit was a scream to read. I just found that the convenience of having cooking facilities made the stay in Eleuthera very acceptable as it allowed us the ease of making our own breakfasts and lunches. Eleuthera does not offer any kind of eatery franchises, and the more elegant restaurants are not low cost venues. Some people may claim that location is at a disadvantage. I would have to disagree, as this is the most central location for the island. Car rental is a necessary evil on this island as a person should not restrict themselves to just amenities within walking distance. This hotel does have walking distance access to a beach at Sky Beach. Please be aware that pools on any hotels are a rarity on this island.. Even though the units are next to the major road on the island, there was no road noise to be heard within the units. (what a relief, compared to the horrid house rental we abandoned which was located just outside of a town where one of the neighbours had 4 roosters which crowed all night.) Should I ever return to Eleuthera for another vacation, this is the place I would return to, hands down

Hut Pointe is a great place to stay in Eleuthera. The property is wonderfully maintained and the rooms are large, well appointed and clean with free wireless internet.and satellite TV available! There are beautiful beaches nearby and Governors Harbour and good restaurants only a short drive away. My family and I enjoyed our short time at Hut Point and plan to stay longer in the very near future.

The owners (Adelaide and Brendan) were the nicest and friendliest. The accomodation was excellent: clean, confortable and beautiful. The room/suite was equipped with a kitchen in which it was a pleasure to cook (made you opt for staying in for dinner). The whole building was surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden. The atmosphere was the most relaxing and pieceful. To summarize: when you came back after a 'hard' day at the beach going back to Hut Pointe made you feel like 'coming back home'.

We have been to Eleuthera several times and love all of its quaint settlements and love, love, love the variety of beaches. We have driven past this hotel many times always with the idea of stopping in and checking it out for future visits but had never gotten around to it. I found it on the internet while searching for a place to stay for one night before moving on to a house rental because our flight was a day earlier than the house rental started. The location is great, the suite was clean and comfortable, and the owners (Adelaide and Brendan) were wonderful friendly people who were very kind and helpful. They have an arrangement with the resort across the street "Sky Beach Club" to allow the guests that stay at Hut Pointe access to their brand new inifinity pool and of course the beach. My husband and I sat at the bar while the children cooled off in the pool and then we all walked down to the beach which was only a few steps away from the pool. If I had known that it would be this nice I would have arranged to stay longer. The suite we had was large with two bedrooms, a living room, dining room, and kitchen- complete with full size refrigerator, stove with oven and plenty of counter space. It had cable TV, great air conditioning and was very reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quite large. We will definitely return and stay longer. It was nice to be able to cook and eat comfortably. Thanks again Adelaide and Brendan for such a wonderful time!

I stayed at Hut Pointe for two weeks. Situated at the center of Eleuthera it's the ideal place to stay for exploring the whole island on your own. Very nice appartments, recently restructured, two bed rooms, big kitchen well equipped, clean and quiet. The owners are very nice and willing to take care of the guests. I strongly recommend this place to all visitors.

“A wonderful time had by all!” We just returned from an amazing last minute weekend getaway to Eleuthera, Bahamas. The owners at Hut Pointe were able to accommodate us for our short stay and returned our call quickly. The apartments are bright, beautiful and clean (ours #6 had a view of the gardens and Ocean). The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. They even left a cool jug of drinking water for us in the fridge. The bedrooms have the most comfortable mattresses, duvets and pillows. We all slept very well! The bathroom has high end fixtures and the amenities from l'Occitane were a very nice touch. The location is very easy to find coming from the airport, and a short walk to one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. We'll be back soon! Ash, Sherry and Lauren Barmania
