This property is abundant in natural wildlife. Located 750 feet above and a mile and a half back from the ocean atop a jungle ridge it offers 360 degree views. From the 2,500 sq foot deck hear waves breaking and spot breaching humpback whales in Latin America's first national marine park - Marina Ballena. On the other side the densely canopied valley rises sharply to 4000 feet. The main house is situated at the edge of primary forest in which 3 species of monkeys loiter, sloths, anteaters live, Toucans nest in dozens, poison dart frogs hop and over 300 species of birds inhabit the property at various times of year. This is a naturalist's paradise.
Architecturally the house is described as simple elegance where Bali meets Costa Rica meets American building standards. The house is described as a tree house, as a mountain home, and a beach house all in one. Made of three types of hard woods, it is as if a jungle museum.
