We have rented the house twice and anticipate doing so many times in the future. It is clean, quiet and has everything to make you feel at home. A bargain at any price!!! The owner is great to deal with. Close to everything including many fine restaurants and the ocean.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

This year was our family's third year in a row in Florida for a winter vacation. However, this was our first time at New Smyrna Beach. Loved the house, pool and beach and will definitely return to New Smyrna Beach again. The space shuttle launch at daybreak from NSB was fabulous to watch. Enjoyed the Barrett Jackson car auction in Palm Beach. Best of all was the walk on the beach each day.

This place is amazing! We had such a wonderful time enjoying the house (which is amazing) and the beach. My husband and I never left New Smyrna - we were either on the beach, in the pool or relaxing on the couches. What a great trip! First time for me, CJ, visiting New Smyrna, FL and staying at the Manatee House. MOST AWESOME place!! I had the best time ever and cannot wait to return next year! The home is so comfortable with lots of room. Accessible to the beach as well as Flagler Avenue -- the only two places you really need to go! hahahaha! You can't go wrong staying here! Thanks for letting us enjoy such a great place!!!!

I am the grandmother and the mother of this group. What a treat for me as I near year 85. My first visit to New Smyrna Beach. What an outstanding beach! Hope to get to see it another time.We had a lovely week in your beach home - very restful - everything we needed was available (even a band-aid!). Bed was comfy and the pool perfect for my Omem to get in. We ate at J.B.'s, Flip-Flops, and Clancy's Cantina. My favorite was Clancy's - surprisingly good Mexican food. Thank you!

Had the best time this week! First time in New Smyrna Beach for me and it was a blast! This house is so comfortable and the perfect getaway. What a great week to get your mind off of everything. Now it's back to Kentucky for me and I wish I could stay here forever. Loved Traders & Blues Caboose (best lemonade I have ever tasted). It was perfect!

As always, we have had a wonderful time here. Love NSB & this house! Always wish the week would last a little bit longer. Our favorites - Boston Fish House (go early like 4:30-5:00 or later 7:30-8:00). Don't let the line out the door scare you off. Excellent food and service. Our family of 6 ate for approx. $70 and we went there 3 times this week. We enjoy the atmosphere at J.B.'s Fish Camp too and the food's ok. Thanks again Jackie for the great "home away from home"!

We had a great time on the beach and in the pool. The house was well stocked with linens and appliances which was very much appreciated! This was my first year vacationing in New Smyrna Beach and I definitely plan to return. I recommend shopping on Flagler Avenue and Canal Street. The owners of the Wine and Cigar Bar on Flagler Ave were very nice. Until next year!

Our spring break vacation in New Smyrna Beach was great. The accommodations at 829 Hope Avenue were wonderful. We visited the New Smyrna Dunes Park where we saw cactus and tortoise along the wonderful boardwalk. We thought it was neat to see them in the wild. On our trip we also visited the JFK Space Center and played tennis at the nearby Detwiler Park. Our children liked swimming in the pool. One of our most enjoyable places was the BEACH!! It was great to be in walking distance and it was an enjoyable walk along the beach. A first for our family was to drive on the beach, that was a neat experience. All in all, the beach is FANTASTIC! Thanks for a memorable vacation!

Thank you for providing such a fantastic home for us to vacation in. We absolutely loved it here. This house is beautiful and by far the cleanest home we've ever had here in Florida. We will definitely be back. This is such a beautiful area. The pool was such a hit with the kids. What a great kitchen for the adults. Thanks for keeping the house well stocked from spices to beach and pool gear. New Smyrna Beach and Daytona Beach have been about our favorite vacation spots (also Clearwater Beach and Cape May, NJ) This was such a relaxing home to be in, thank you! Once again our family enjoyed your homes and had a great family vacation. The grandkids really enjoyed the pool after naps and the grown-ups enjoyed it when the kids were in bed for the night. Grandpa and Grandma loved the bikes and even the small ones got to go too! We really appreciate having all the chairs, towels, toys and beach items here at the house. This was our second year at the beach house and it will not be our last. We plan to return each summer for our family vacation. This year we had two houses as we grow with marriages and grandkids.

Wow! This place is great. We really enjoyed our stay. We visited before and stayed across the street so this time we just rented them both plus the one next door. On the 8th we went on the lagoon cruise, that was very interesting. Good thing we are leaving before the hurricane side storms hit. Disney was great. We had so many first-timers. One day we just spent at the shops downtown. Some of them were great. We are all sad to go but our time is up. Hope to come back again!

We went parasailing again and this time went on a banana boat ride - alot of fun but not for the feint of heart! We also went and rented jet skis and saw some dolphins. A fantastic vacation in a beautiful state with excellent accommodations. The proof is in the desire to return again, because two weeks is not nearly enough time to do all we would like to do and see what we would like to see. I am amazed at how much we enjoyed the beach and how much time we spent there, seeing that we are really not beach people (maybe I should say we were not beach people). I loved the house! Next year I think we are coming back. The ocean was never cold to me but it was really wavy. At least 12 foot waves out there. I think it was Sunday or Monday when it was 93 and right before we crossed the bridge it hit 97. Well, had a fantastic time. p.s. my sis and mom wrote a page back so you can read theirs too.

Wow, what a great week. Thanks for sharing your home with us. The house is wonderful and the kids loved the pool. Weather was fabulous, shopping plentiful, beaches great. JB's Fish Camp was absolutely delicious, casual and a great view of the sunset. Parasailing and driving on the beach was fun but the airboat ride on the St. John's River was the best! Captain Gator Bruce witth A Awesome Airboat Ride absolutely rocked! It was fun and we saw at least 100 alligators! New Smyrna Beach is a fabulous place to vacation. We hope to bring family and friends back next year.

We've been renting in Kissimmee for years but this house is our favorite because of the location. Loved to walk the beach and our weather was wonderful. New Smyrna Beach is a lovely quiet town. Daytona Beach is fun, lively, crowded - rented 4-wheelers to "cruise" the beach. JB's Fish Camp - great lunch spot. The Sterline Casino Boat out of Port Canaveral (1 hour south) was fun for a nice evening out. We really enjoyed our stay and found everything we needed. Love the beach chairs and toys. Hopefully we'll become regulars!
