Robert has been the local doctor and heart of the ER in North Kohala for over 30 years while Jean has worked beside him to offer an integration of medicine as a massage therapist and healer. We have continued our passion for healing and created a Healing Retreat and destination Spa in Historic Kohala. The boutique Hotel- Hawaii Island Retreat is a luxurious sustainable hotel integrating aspects of healing in all Retreats. Robert is a passionate gardener, he is especially proud of his extensive avocado and lychee orchards as well as his healing and other organic gardens around the lodge and Spa. Our spa cuisine features his fresh, homegrown fruits and vegetables.
