We searched the Northshore the last time we visited Kauai and chose Pali Ke Kua for its magnificent views, "private" beach and gorgeous grounds. We chose unit #201 because we love the mountains as much as we like the ocean and since it is a corner unit, we get to see both! Also, the unit looked light and airy from the photos and it really was. The price is really reasonable for all you get: a two floor condo, loads a space, two bedrooms (one is a loft and we just used that for storage really), two bathrooms (nice when we both wanted a shower right after the beach), a fully stocked kitchen and all the beach supplies that you could ever want (towels, chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, etc.). This was a perfect spot for us.

Being in the corner unit means you are able to see both the mountains and the ocean. The unit is fully stocked with beach chairs, nice coffee mugs,coffee filters, pizza cuitter etc. -- all nice touches. Can't emphasize again how nice this was; even with the heavy rain we really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks!

We came here for our honeymoon. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere -- not too built up. Very good whale watching. We enjoyed the ocean view, location and nice amenities of this vacation rental home. The rates were reasonable.

Breakfasts overlooking the stunning view. Cocktails on the balcony in the evening. Freedom to do your own thing and excellent value for the money. Everything just worked.

Home was beautiful...view was awesome, loved watching the surfers. Saw a monk seal on the beach below the condo.

The condo was well stocked with beach gear, great washer/dryer, full kitchen, laundry facilities, etc. Great restaurant onsite (Infigos)-- the people were awesome. The Chef's Challenge was great!

We found our corner condo (#201) and were quite literally shaken by the breathtaking view overlooking the ocean. The Master bedroom and bathroom were large and spacious. The king sized bed was wonderfully comfortable and restful. In the closet, we found beach chairs, beach mats, etc. The condo has WIFI. The carpeting throughout the unit was clean and was in excellent condition as was the rest of the condo. Would we go back to Pali Ke Kua? In a heartbeat.

Loved the beautiful beaches and the pool area. Loved the feeling of being at home with everything provided for a great vacation. Liked being able to have meals here or out. Loved the welcome gift of coffee and water, etc. -- a nice touch!

Your place is gorgeous!!! We love how it is so clean, light and airy -- it feels like living in a dream vacation. The view of Bali Hai has to be the best in all of Kauai -- Our kids love it too; the boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach stuff and the secret path down to their "own" private beach and tidepools. We never thought that we would be in a swimming pool in Kauai, but our children love that too. My husband appreciated the wireless connection so he could work in his "home away from home". We will definitely be back to #201 -- so nice to get away from the snow!

We enjoyed snorkeling and walking at Hideaways Beach. The view from the lanai is spectacular!! We enjoyed sunset dinner here almost every day during the stay.

We were most pleased to return to Pali Ke Kua for the third time. The calm and quiet of the North Shore helped slow down time and allowed us to experience the best aspect of Kauai, the beauty and uniqueness of the island. This is my 17th trip to the Islands, and, as always, Kauai is the very best. Our time at the beaches is the most treasured. While sad to leave, we look forward to our next visit to PARADISE!

This place is awesome for families! The view from the lanai is breathtaking and we all loved looking for whales, sunsets and rainbows. The beach has great tide pools for the kids, snorkeling and surfing (if you know what you are doing). We hope to come again next year!
