Why the Owner Chose Kimberley
To enjoy the mountains, mild weather, adventure activities and to avoid the crowds in the Banff National Parks, we purchased our ski hill condo in Kimberley. Kimberley is located 4 hours west of Calgary in a valley between the Canadian Rocky Mountains and the Purcell Mountains. Spring comes earlier than Calgary and fall arrives later. The summers are warmer and the winters milder. There is little wind and the seasonal rains & dry snow falls gently, straight down. 17 golf courses and 3 ski resorts are near by. Fishing, white water rafting, riding, hiking, biking, swimming, wilderness hot springs are to be enjoyed. Wasa Lake is the warmest lake in the Canadian Rockies WE GO FOR THE WEATHER AND STAY FOR THE FUN!
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
On a winters evening, when there is a full moon, our family will go to the closest natural hot spring for a candle light soaking. We take extra large towels as you change clothes in the open. Going golfing is quick. There are 8 mountain golf courses are within 3-30 minutes of the condo. Then we take a break and go White Water rafting on the Elk river (which is safe and more exciting during the spring runoff) go horse back riding or hike to natural hot springs.
