Recently remodeled studio with 2 new double beds and new sheets and bed spreads. The condo was remodeled with Tuscany Beige Tile and Kasmir Gold Granite. I took the personal touch with my contractor in redesigning the studio and was with him every step of the way as far as materials that were used.
The Studio is in the back of the complex away from any noise. It is a short distance to the pool, barbecue and hot tub. The Maui Banyan is within walking distance to Kammole Beach 11.
The studio has a 38 inch flat screen LCD energy efficient TV, with a DVD player, Air conditioniong and Ceiling Fan.
The Studio can sleep two people comfortably, the studio is on the third level of building T and the work out you get from climbing the stairs will off set all the delightful food you will discover at many of the fine restaurants of Maui.
There are moped and motorcycle rentals with in walking distance. There is a bike rental shop within a mile of the condo. There are also recreational beach stores, for the rental of boogie boards, snorkel gear with in one mile of the condo.

I was on my own attending a wedding in Kihei. All of the wedding party were staying at the Maui Banyan, and I felt fortunate that I could find a place there as well. It was a good thing my friends were there. The room was clean and well maintained with a bar fridge, microwave and 2 cup coffee maker. I arrived late at night, there was nothing in the unit, either to make coffee or tea. My friends bought me some bananas and yogurt, so at least I could have a bite to eat in the morning. There were two place settings of dishes (No bowls) 2 forks, spoons, dinner knives and 2 mugs. No glasses, no knife to cut fruit...not even a toaster or toaster oven to have toast in the morning; All this was pretty dissapointing. I did borrow a couple of things from my friend's unit. I would definitely stay here again, if I had friend's staying in another room, but not if I was on my own. One of the bridesmaids was also staying in a studio suite, which had one kingsize bed, a full size fridge, toaster, toaster oven, blender etc. and some condiments to get started. This unit was very comfortable, quiet, and if you planned on eating out every night, it would be fine. The owner was great, I never met her, but she was always quick in getting back to me when I asked questions about the unit, and I had no problems getting in the suite, my stay was awesome, and I loved Maui!Did you find this review helpful? Not a ton of bells and whistles, but if you want a quiet and convenient room, this place is great. I spend most of my time on the beach anyway, so I just need a nice shower and a place to keep my beer cold. This condo has both. No kitchen, just a microwave and mini fridge. And a few beach towels, too! Feels more like a hotel room than the typical Maui condo, but perfect for an affordable trip.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

This was a perfect condo for our stay in Maui. The price was right the location was amazing and the birds out the back deck made it priceless. The description of the studio was exactly what was described on the website. If that is what you are looking for then I would, with out a doubt, recommend it. About the owner: I am mother of 3 and grandmother of 5. I enjoy antiquing, drawing and the water. I was certified for scuba on Maui. I am also a member of the Pacific Whale Foundation.
Why the Owner Chose Maui Banyan:
I fell in love with Maui when I first visited over 25 years ago. My dream was to retire on Maui. Before coming to Maui I never thought about living in the Tropics until I came to Maui . The island is truly paradise on earth.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I enjoy the trade winds when I am sitting on the Lanai and watching the boats as they come and go to Molokini. Molokini is a popular place to snorkel, scuba or snuba.
