Why the Owner Chose Grand Lake
We love the mountains and decided it would be nice to have a place called our own where we can go and get away and enjoy the peace and quiet mountain area. Also, we are close to the Rocky Mountain National Park where you can enjoy seeing all the animals.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
There is a lot to do in the Grand Lake area, golfing, fishing, hiking, 4-wheeling and snowmobiling. Also, there is a lot to do in town, Grand Lake where you can sit and look at the boats, dining and things for the kids to do (putt-putt and bumper cars)

I have rented this Grand Lake Cabin on two separate occasions, and I highly recommend this property. The owners are delightful, and provide a Mountain Retreat that is SUPURB in accommodations, decor, facilities, and comfort. Sun Valley Lake is a short drive from Grand Lake, and this particular cabin sits on the waterfront of this serene, crystal clear alpine lake. I particularly enjoyed using the Canoe and Paddle Boat to enjoy the lake, and the fishing is excellent. Whether a few days, or a few weeks, your stay will be memorable! The cabin has 3 sleeping areas, as well as a loft for the kids (or guests that Snore..LOL) 2 bathrooms are also available, and ALL of the ammenities you would need to make it your HOME AWAY FROM HOME. I highly suggest a rental in the FALL, so as not to miss the "bugleing Elk" that frequent the area at night. And if you're a STARGAZER..you are in for a treat! ENJOY!

We spent a great weekend in Grand Lake at this cabin. The pictures and description were good - views and animals sighted were amazing - and super close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The kitchen and living space is perfect for any gathering. The town is fun - Lariat Bar an old town favorite. The Lake is beautiful. The cabin was clean, great beds and nice bathrooms. I would recommend this property.

I stayed at this cabin a few years ago while vacationing in Colorado...and I loved the experience so much, that I am returning this Fall for another stay. This cabin is Cozy, Comfortable, Spacious and Quiet. The Lake is beautiful (enhanced by an early morning or early evening tour on the provided Canoe), and the wildlife is abundant. It all adds up to a little piece of heaven, right here on Earth. The owners are cordial and very accommodating. Close to the town of Grand Lake, yet Peaceful and Serene. A true Rocky Mountain Retreat, for a Great Price! Looking forward to my next visit...and I highly recommend this cabin to any and all that seek Rest, Relaxation, and FUN in a superb setting.

Beautiful clean cabin, walk into RMNP, and to the colorado river. Sits on well stocked lake that our kids caught several trout from. Fabulousmountain views from the back of cabin. five minute drive into RMNP gates or town. Tons of wild life including moose and elk spotted at cabin almost daily. The owners are very nice and helpful. Cabin was well stocked with basic supplies and amenities. Only concern could be that loft, king bedroom and one queen bedroom are all partially open to each other so the only completely private bedroom is the queen on other side of cabin. That said, this cabin sleeps several people very comfortably. We loved it and hope to return soon!
