Welcome to our Beach Retreat! We hope you and your family will enjoy our beautifully decorated, first floor location, 1B5 directly on the beach (no highway to cross). Our condo is located just above a rare reserved under-the-building “shady” parking space for your use alone. Thus, you won’t have to compete for outside parking, Your parking space is also near an elevator or a stariway.. so you can ride or walk up one flight for quick condo access. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is newly furnished to include single leather sleeper couches, linens, lamps, décor‘, and freshly painted throughout. New leather dining chairs add comfort. We have a great comfortable lazy boy recliner, plenty of beach towels, umbrells, beach chairs, and a fully furnished kitchen made by our Amish friends and installed with granite counters in 9/09.
The master bedroom has a Serta Pillow Top king bed, lots of drawer space, and connects to a private full bath, a large walk-in closet, and the screened lanai. One can choose to watch a favorite TV show on the new Sony Bravia Large Flat Screen TV from the bed along with watching the magnificent sunset over the water with Sanibel Island in the background. The private lanai also connects to the living room and is equipped to accommodate family dinners or just relaxing on the couch to watch the kids play on the grassy lawn, the sand, or the ocean. The guest/children’s/grandma room is equipped with top brand extreemly comfortable twin beds and lots of drawer and closet space and is comfortably located to access the second full bath easily.
Free high speed wireless internet (private and ours alone) is right in our condo to use with your personal computer or there is free use of a computer/internet in the office. (w printer to print boarding passes, etc.) . There are 3 brand new Sony Bravia Flat Screen TV's and 3 New DVD’s. A large DVD library is ALSO in our unit for all family ages.
We have free "call anywhere in mainland USA" phone service.
Smugglers Cove has been voted the Best Condo Complex on the beach for 12 years straight. All new construction of pavers, improvement are totally completed so.. no construction! It would be hard to beat the mid island location and amenities that come with your visit. Smugglers Cove boasts a very large heated swimming pool, new putting green, and shuffleboard courts and as well as lots of tiki huts and trees for your shade enjoyment near the water. There is plenty of grassy areas to throw balls or relax on the provided loungers. The complex also has numerous gas grills and picnic areas, an extremely large clean modern laundry facility and community rooms to use for large groups/parties .
A major grocery store (not just a quick stop) is just 3 blocks away…an easy walk or drive. The island trolley costs 50 cents and runs all day for your enjoyment of the shopping, the restaurants, the public golf course, or the night life. Close by you’ll find fishing and boat, jet ski and moped rentals. A great Pirate Ship also docks nearby for a wonderful adventure for the little ones! Spring training for the Boston Red Socks and the Minnesota Twins is also in close proximity.

- Elevator : Very close to elevator. But being on the first floor makes an easy 1 floor walk up from the parking.. if you wish. Also close to the stairs.

- Covered Parking : Rare to have... only 20 out of 84 units in the condos have this feature. This is a reserved spot so no looking for parking anytime, near elevator and right under this unit. Keeps the car so much cooler!!
- Off Street Parking : Reserved under-building parking and Additional lot parking for second car or guests.

- Cooking Utensils Provided : Totally filled with just about anything you will need to enjoy snacks to full course meals! Lots of small appliances!

- Gas/Electric BBQ Grill : Wonderful tiki hut containing 4 grills and places to eat outside if you wish.
- Lanai : Beautiful Screened Lanai with "full" view of the water and sand... a delightful place to just relax and to watch the sunsets, the dalphins, and sometimes even a sail boat race. Has a wicker couch and a table and chairs for 4. ... and lots of sand toys!!
- Gazebo : Wonderful Tiki roofs throughout the complex... a perfect place to set a drink and get some shade on the wonderful grassy area the length of the comples and next to the sand. You can enjoy the waves, and view the water without going into the sand if you wish. Lots of lounges and chairs to use.
- View/Location
- Beachfront : Top location with a grassy area to sit or lay on if you don't wish the sand... or a few steps more to the sand and the water!! Our condo has sand chairs and new large beach umbrella.
- Beach View : Total full view of the beach from both the screened in Lanai or the Master Bedroom. (Nothing between you and the water!!) No roads to cross or buildings to look at!!
- Oceanfront : Directly on the gulf with no buildings, roads, etc. in front of you!! **** Adult water toy and bike rentals near by.

We had a great time here and enjoyed your condo. Thanks for letting us stay here. Had some great family fun Thanksgiving week and hope to return next year. We had a fantastic week here as Smugglers Cove 1B5 . Lots of sun, lots of laughs, lots of fond memories to take back home with us. We have been to Smugglers Cove for about 4 years and this is the best room yet! We love the decorations. The are great! Wish we would have found it sooner! We'll be back.
