This newly built (2009) custom duplex is located in Aspen Glen Country Club -see Aspen Glen's website to see clubhouse and to review amenities, rules and fees - is designed to entertain in and offers luxurious, year-round, country club, resort living & incredible views of Mt Sopris. 30 minutes from Aspen, Highlands, Snowmass, and Buttermilk ski resorts. A heated,oversized, 2 car garage, automated openers, and snow plowed driveway promises your vehicles will be ready to roll out to hit the slopes early. Let us know if you would like us to arrange rental vehicles for your arrival. Golf cart access and storage in garage available for those wishing to ship their own cart.
Housekeeping, holiday decorating, advanced purchasing of groceries and beverages prior to your arrival may also be arranged as well as snowmobile, ski and bike rentals. Nominal fees and costs applicable pending the package you desire.
In the winter it is not unusual to wake up and see a herd of elk laying on the nearby pasture. Canadian Geese, Heron's, Hummingbirds and many other species of birds are abundant depending on the season.

We have lived in this valley (Aspen to Carbondale) for over 18 years. We live, work and play here year-round and while we love to travel it is always a great feeling to return home. Aspen Glen is a unique community, well landscaped both naturally and professionally, excellent security and very peaceful. It is close enough to Carbondale, Basalt and Aspen to enjoy live concerts, outstanding cuisine and quality stores and boutiques. Play tennis, golf, hike and bike and enjoy gold metal trout streams and snow sports. It is not unusual to do all or most of these activities in the same day.
Why the Owner Chose Carbondale
The picturesque town of Carbondale is located 170 miles west of Denver, 12 miles from Glenwood Springs, and 30 miles from Aspen in the heart of Colorado's central Rocky Mountains. At an altitude of 6,181 feet, and resting in the magnificent shadow of 12,953-foot Mount Sopris, the Carbondale area is characterized by an average of 295 days of sunshine, low humidity, cold but mild winters and comfortable summers.
