Welcomed paved roads and easy access to and from is appreciated by many. The view of Lake Cuyamaca is spectacular. One of the most unusual sights is the "Cuymaca" effect on many early evenings. "Cuyamaca" is the original Indian inhabitant's name meaning "mist over the mountains". It can only be described as "mystical". There is honestly too much to say about this area in this space, so see the website posted on this listing for more pictures and activities, it's worth the time!!. Adios and happy trails!!!!! Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2005
We are retired, grateful folks, although always busy, we love our times of tranquility and "getting away" from the city, traffic and cement parking lots....
Why the Owner Chose Julian
My husband and I have so enjoyed Julian and Lake Cuyamaca. Our appreciation of the outdoors and the Old West, the beautiful lake view, the town, the horses, wildlife, snow, fishing, and all the other exciting activities we shared together are so many. This place has been, and always will be, memories to treasure......
The Unique Benefits of this House
Horseback riding, the corral, fishing seconds away, bird watching (within the Pacific Flyway),hunting, a white Christmas, the trails, (horse, bicycling, hiking),the infinite stars at night, the quiet, the beautiful lake view and it's superb fishing, the shops and restaurants, the deer and turkeys, the historical sites, even the close-by casinos, we cannot list all the benefits and "to-dos" we have experienced. We feel there is a positive benefit gained from our property's sheltered location, that being a generally milder "windy condition". Due to the area's proximity to the convergence of ocean and desert climates above, the potential occasional nuisance of being "blown away" is drastically lessened.
