My husband and I and two other couples really enjoyed our time last January at the Stone House. We walked every morning and evening sometimes catching a party at Pelican cove- can't beat the location! Being dog owners we asked that the neighbor dogs be allowed to visit so that we didn't miss our dogs back home so much. Pam and her husband made sure that we had everything we needed.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

The only "good" part of this place was the location and that even could have been better; a car is absolutely needed. The house was dirty, full of bugs and absolutely did not look like the pictures on the website. While the owner was "nice" and the realtor provided good communication PRIOR to the trip, neither was able to make a bad situation better. The realtor didn't even have the courtesty to call when I specifically asked putting full expectation on the owner who was himself on island time. I highly suggest no one rent this property without seeing it in person first. It created distress during the stay for all involved and was an expensive family disappointment.
Recommended for:Pet owners.

My husband and I enjoyed one full week at the Stone House in June 2010 and will certainly go back one day. The privacy offered at this home was excellent and we absolutely would recommend this home if you are looking for relaxation, beautiful views and right on the water. It was very conveniently located near all the shopping and restaurants in Christiansted. Pam and Nelson were wonderful hosts and look forward to visiting again.
