You will be mesmerized by the view when you walk in the front door. From the 10th floor of this high-rise building, you have a 180 degree view, from the Hotel Del Coronado to the north, sweeping down to the Coronado Yacht Club in Glorietta Bay right below the condo, with the Coronado Bay Bridge and San Diego city skyline in the background. There is always a beautiful view--day or night--and some activity going on including sail boats of all sizes, luxury yachts, and the Hornblower dinner cruise ship.
This luxury unit was completely remodeled/updated in 2007 with granite/tile kitchen and baths, oversize tile floors in all areas except 2 bedrooms, new appliances, new living/dining room furniture, and new shade screens which allow filtered light but you can see the views. Master bedroom has a CalKing bed and the guest bedroom has 2 twin beds, which can be put together to form a King bed. Both bedrooms have new bed linens in 2009. The bath in the guest suite has a walk-in shower with glass brick surround, and the master bath has a bathtub w/shower over. Both have handicap bars for safety. There are 3 TV's and DVD players, plus DVR in living room, stereo receiver/CD player w/speakers throughout the condo, high-speed wireless Internet.
The very secure building has a 24-hour manned guard at entry gate and a 24-hour Doorman in the lobby of the building. You must have a key or clicker to access the garage, to enter the lobby from garage, to enter the pedestrian doors to garage, and to use the up elevator. Coronado beaches were voted in the Top Ten in the world and the No. One family beach, where swimming, bogie boarding, board surfing, kite surfing, body surfing, kayaking and jet skiing are very popular.

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Sometimes I park my car in the garage when I arrive and it never leaves the space. I love riding one of my two bikes (which are available to tenants) over to The Point, around the island and down to the Cays. Or walking downtown to The Village for breakfast or lunch at one of the many outdoor restaurants, for dinner at one of the fine gourmet restaurants. I love shopping at the quaint shops along Orange Avenue and try and support the local merchants. Then there are the lovely sunsets viewed from the deck of the Beach Club with a cocktail, or from the sand or a bench on the beach. We frequently use the outdoor B-B-Q's at the pools for family and friends get-togethers. It's a 30-minute ferry ride from the Point to the mainland and the boats run every half hour to and from Coronado. If I do want to get in my car, I can be in downtown in 7 minutes, the airport or Balboa Park/San Diego Zoo in 13 minutes, or the Wild Animal Park in 45 minutes. And best of all...the weather is perfect year round. Coming from the Desert where it was 118 degrees yesterday, I can certainly appreciate that.

I searched for a second home/rental property at the Southern California beach cities from 1995 until 1998. When I found the Coronado Shores complex I knew it was the perfect place for me. The Glorietta Bay/Coronado Yacht Club is on my view side and the Pacific Ocean is just a short walk (1/2 block) across the lushly landscaped grounds to the beach. The complex is immaculately maintained as is my particular building, Los Flores. There are four pools/spas, 8 tennis courts, 2 club houses, and many activities for owners and guests. The complex is just south of the world famous Hotel Del Coronado and only 7 minutes over the bridge to downtown San Diego and all of its attractions. This property is one of my favorite places in the entire world and I get there as often as possible when it is not rented. Since I am still a working Real Estate Broker, I do rent it out to quality tenants whenever possible. My unit was completely remodeled/updated in 2007 and everyone who has rented it since tells me it is the nicest unit they have every seen at The Shores. Enjoy your vacation!
