We stayed at this lovely house while visiting relatives in the area. It was clean, well cared for, and homey. The wood stove was very much appreciated during the cold weather. It is tastefully furnished and as advertised. We would recommend this house to anyone. We enjoyed the Christmas lights at Shore Acres and shopping at the Cranberry Candy Store nearby.
Owner response:Thank you Becky for your nice review on the VRBO site!

Lovely place, just as described. Relaxing place to be, well-equipped, lovely garden. Very reasonable price. Definitely will come back. Especially appreciated the caretaker promptly returning a phone charger left behind!

We were very comfortable at this home and it suited our needs perfectly. Close to everything but yet quite private. I would highly recommend it. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Before booking our vacation I read all the reviews and that was a big factor in choosing this house, and sure glad I did. I was the best vacation we could have asked for. The neighbor was great and so friendly. Plus when you and your family get there and walk in the house is so clean and warm and welcoming. They even add personal touches that not everyone would do. We have a family of 4 and it was perfect, like having 2 bathrooms. The backyard was so cute and private. Plus the berries were yummy! If you are wondering if you should rent this house don't wonder anymore. You will not be disapointed. We can't wait to go back next summer.

My wife, 2 dogs and I stayed here in July. We were on our way to points in California and decided to make a quick stop here for a few nights before continuing our journey. The house is located on a non-descript block in a regular neighborhood in Coos Bay. It wasn’t until we actually entered that I realized we were in for a treat. The house is very nice and larger than what I expected. The kitchen is up to date with fine appliances and plenty of room. The main room has a TV and some very comfortable chairs and a nice couch. The bedrooms are good sized with a very comfortable bed in the master. I’m not sure about the second bedroom because we didn’t use it, but the bed felt nice as well. There is Internet access both wireless throughout the house and wired in the master. The house was immaculately clean. We have been to many rental places and never have found one as clean as this. Totally clean! As much as we liked the house, the back yard and deck were probably our favorite places to be. The morning sun was refreshing on the deck plus we ate most of our meals there. There is a neat gas barbeque that we used to fix some really fine foods. The back yard was completely fenced in and the dogs had a wonderful time playing there and occasionally starting barkathons with the local K9 residents of the neighborhood. There are even strawberry plants in front that I missed when I first arrived. As I was picking some of these strawberries, Ariana came by to introduce herself and tell me about the blueberries in the back. I checked them out and found the back yard also had more strawberries, currents, apples and other fruit trees with fruit that was ready to eat. Yum! We checked out the beaches which were a short drive away, but having only a few days so we spent most of the time in the wonderful backyard and enjoying the nicely equipped house when it got too cool and dark to sit outside. Beaches are beaches, but this house is a real gem! We plan on staying here in the future. We all had a great time, our car even liked the garage!

This was a great place to stay I felt very welcome, she had left a special treat for me and even for my dog. It was great for my dog as I could just let him in the backyard and not have to worry about him. Very quiet and comfortable, had everything that I needed and plus. It was great 10 to 15 minute walk down to the cove and then whenI wanted to visit a beach there were several just a few miles away. Would go back and stay here again.

We stayed here in August and had a wonderful time. The cottage was the perfect getaway for our family. It was in a great location and centralized to the sights we wanted to see. It had all the things we needed and a great backyard for our dogs. The neighbors were very nice too. Ariana is an extremely kind and thoughtful person. She made sure we had the tools we needed to see all the great sights in Oregon. The people in Coo's are good people giving it that homey feel. Would definitely recommend this to others and if possible, we will be back next year =) Already miss Coo's. Thank you so very much for sharing your home with us.

This place was perfect for our needs! Rented it for my in-laws, while we camped, for our daughter's wedding at Shore Acres. Us girls used it the first night, then the in-laws the rest of the time. I slept on the pull out couch and it was very comfortable. We decorated the cakes in the well equiped kitchen. There were 2 refrigerators (one in the garage) and that was such a blessing, because we had a lot of food items for the wedding. Very nice place!

We hope to get out to your place again soon. Here is a comment for you: We have rented several times from VRBO and found the places ( where we have stayed) and people we have dealt with to be wonderful. Ms Oshi and her cottage are exactly that! I had business at the college and the location was just perfect. We were a little taken back by the low key neighborhood but once inside, we were delighted! Everything was clean and quiet. The master bed was exceptionally comfortable and the cottage itself was roomy and bright. We loved the roses and strawberries outside! Our stay was just perfect. Ms. Oshi was easy to work with and her neighbor was right there, in case of any questions. A lovely time for us and we hope to do it again! Thanks so much!

We found this cottage to be very cosy, nicely decorated and well equipped. The location was close to everything and the neighborhood was quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and we're looking forward to going there again. The owner and manager were both very pleasant and that made it enjoyable also. Highly recommended and great relaxation!

Upon opening the front door, the welcoming begins! The warmth of the hardwood floors is only accentuated by the beautiful plants that surround the large front windows. The sun plays here, as well as into the kitchen and bedroom, courtesy of the sliding glass doors that beckon one to the deck, which is common between them. The open floor plan extends from living room to dining area to media area, creating a relaxing sense of space within. Fresh strawberries can be enjoyed from the front yard at the right time of the year, and the eye is filled with the multiple plantings in front and back. Bamboo grows to curtain the deck with privacy, and the fire pit calls out during the cool nights. To warm one inside, a beautiful Jotl woodstove is ready to chase any chills quickly away. Convenience is throughout, down to the brand new Maytag Neptune washer and dryer. The feeling of home is immediate and pervasive. Come to Coos Bay and enjoy!
