Location: Shores of Maui, South Kihei (Kamaole I & II Beaches Area), Kihei, South Maui, Maui, Hawaii, USA (South Kihei across from "Best Surfing Beach" Cove Park)
Accommodations: Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 3-4)
Keywords: Condominium
A spacious, tropically furnished condo in sunny Kihei. Direct oceanview, no buildings between lanai and ocean. Directly across Kihei Road from Cove Beach and Charlie Young beach as well as walking distance to the Kamaole beaches, I, II & III.
The bedroom view is of the sunrise over the 10,000 ft. volcano, Haleakala, and the lanai (balcony) faces the famous Hawaiian ocean sunset. Whales and turtles surfacing can be seen from comfortably furnished lanai, living room and kitchen. Ocean-view pool, jacuzzi and tennis courts are on-site.
A short stroll to gorgeous white sand beaches for swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing under a coconut palm, and just across the road from Cove Park where surf/kayak lessons are given daily. Shopping, theater, and numerous tropical cafes, clubs and restaurants are all within walking distance.
Equipped with Wireless DSL Internet access and a 36-inch TV with cable, DVD, VCR, and TiVo, so you will not miss a favorite show.
The islands of Molokini, Kahoolawe and Lanai can be seen from our living area - the outrigger canoes are seen riding the surf all day. We are close enough to the water to see sea turtles in the surf.
Several world-class golf courses are within a few miles and the exclusive hotels and Shops of Wailea are within jogging distance (2 mi).
Between December and May the humpback whales come to Maui to give birth, nurture their young in the shallow warm waters, and mate before going back to Alaska waters. You can watch them leap and blow from the private lanai or pool while you toast the fabulous Hawaiian sunset.
Our kitchen is designed so that the chef will not miss a breaching whale or colorful sunset. Pool-side barbecues are also placed so that the cook can appreciate the ocean views while fixing dinner.
We supply all the necessities for relaxed island living; clean, comfortable, and spacious. No smoking, shoes, or pets are allowed inside.
