This vacation was much needed for our Midwest family of four, and the Swashbuckler's Den was just right. The trailer was clean and inviting. All we needed from towels to forks was provided. The bed was comfortable and parking was very convenient. The location between Miami and the other Florida Keys was perfect for exploring. I would recommend for anyone looking for a getaway. What made this vacation was the service. Nestor was great and I felt like we could call him at anytime if we needed to. You will feel as much at home as we did.

Nestor, Just a quick note of thanks for the wonderful stay we had at your place in Key Largo! The accommodations were great! Totally updated to suit anyone wanting a leisure vacation on the water, with a wonderful pool yards away!! You had everything one would need when traveling away from home, and then some!! This is a paradise close to Miami!!!!!!!!! Clean, cozy, comfortable and very important for us peaceful... Living in Miami we need to be in peace once a while with no traffic or noise. Nestor the owner very nice and professional, we just came back and already gave the deposit to be there again in December. The fishing right from the dock incredible, who needs a boat

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Hi Nestor- I just wanted to drop you an email saying "thanks" for a lovely stay at your unit. Although we kept our days pretty filled with diving and sightseeing, the unit was very nice to come home to in the evening. I'm sorry we didn't get to meet in person. Thanks again! Katina

We enjoyed our stay. Calm, comfortable, cosy and clean. The perfect hideway to relax. Only 1h to Miami airport. We'll come again. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolut ruhig, kuschelig, komfortabel und alles top sauber und gepflegt. Perfekt zum Entspannen und nur knapp 1 Stunde von Miami entfernt. Jederzeit wieder. Alice and Jürgen from Germany

First let me say, the owners are just great! We ran behind on meeting up because of all the traffic in Miami and they had the air conditioning on, door unlocked, and keys waiting for us. My husband and two kids stayed here and I was worried it would be to small, wasn't at all! Clean, stocked with all the items we needed and Direct TV with movie channels. Big hit with kids! Really quiet location and the first left before you hit the bridges into Key Largo. We experienced EVERYTHING possible in the Keys! If you go to Key West...book the Dry Tortugas trip!!! Worth every penny! Go to YouTube and watch the videos! We LOVED Harrietts for breakfast...and you MUST get the Key Lime Muffins! Harrietts is in Key Largo on the right hand side heading down the keys. Look for some shallow snorkeling? Go to Bahia Honda State park for a day. Secret...the bridge before the turn off to park...turn right. You will go down a paved road and then walk down a path. Bahia used this as a gravel dumping and made a horseshoe in the water. Lots and lots of colorful fish and is free!!

Whenever you plan a two week trip miles away you have to rely on the owners description & pictures of the rental online...in this case we were not disappointed! This is a great location to have a home port! Good location to do day trips in either direction. The owner is great to deal with & very eager to make your stay better than you could imagine! Thanks for two glorious weeks in the Keys!

Nestor and His wife Sveta are the most accomadating people ever,they had everything ready for us as promised,offered great information for the area,introduced us to some of the locals,George and Ana who also sell the fresh crabs,people here are honest friendly and will do most anything to make you happy,place was clean as expected and furnished several clever things that we forgot to pack.I caught fish every nite from the dock after dark,enough for us to eat and take home.Fish cleaning station was awesome and dock was great,we made a great pelican friend also we miss a lot,at least i got a video of him taking a fish from my mouth.Tiki hut was beautiful,beds were comfy,plenty of room for anything and everything,we found many great fishing spots took our canoe and had a blast,we had so much fun we have been home 3 weeks and are trying to decide what month to go back,not sure if its the laid back life style of the area or the paradise like settings or just the nice people every where you go that makes us want to go.And of course Nestor is about the nicest guy north of cuba.Id would reccomend this place or any of his places in manatee cove,dont waste your money on other resorts and places like that untill you check these places out,well worth the money.And once again Thanks for the great week,early check in and the extra day you let us stay.......Roger and Stephanie ....Ohio

Chilin Spot - Key Largo : a great place to stay !

Hello Nestor and Sveta We are back in France, it's very cold, we already miss the heat and the sun of Florida. We want to thank you both for your great hospitality. Our stay was wonderful ; everything has seemed perfect to us. The site is quiet and safe. The trailer is very confortable, very quiet, very well equipped, nothing missing. The Tikki Hut protect us from too big rays of sun, the loungers with thick cushions, the pontoon for fishing, the BBQ for grilling fishes... We had the chance to see twice manatees in the canal next to the trailer ; we have also sympathized with a pelican who stayed just next to us on the pontoon and with which we shared fishes caught. Great feeling ! It was fabulous ! Futhermore the location of the site comes in handy : between Miami and Key West... very easy to access. It's always a crap shoot booking with places you have never been, but I have used Homeaway for a long time(cyberrentals before-I think they merged). I have never been disappointed and certainly not this time. Initially I was concerned that the place was not actually on key largo but just a short jaunt before the 'new bridge'. However, we got exactly what we were looking for and almost what was advertised. It was far removed(give or take a mile), peaceful, friendly, and quite wonderful neighbors. Definitely not a place for young, loud, party types. This is THE perfect spot for relaxing-a very small R V Park on a marina. And we did see a manatee-right behind our place! Two young middle-age girlfriends will definitely go again.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our family of four with our children aged 11 and 14 thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Swashbuckler's. Everyone particularly enjoyed fishing off the dock and just hanging out on the deck. Great location and quiet. Our only problem was leaving.... Thanks for the great vacation Nestor and Svete. Chris Lofthouse
