We had a wonderful time. Your cabin is our new favorite place. It was decorated stylishly and comfortably. It was easy to get to and we enjoyed playing horseshoes. Thank you for having all the comforts of home and more. We have been some places that felt like it was full of the owner's "leftovers" but your cabin was filled with "top shelf high-end" goodies everywhere. My mother and I enjoyed spending time together cooking and baking in your kitchen. There was a place for everyone to be together or to sneak off for some peace and quiet. This was our first Thanksgiving without my grandmother and we needed to make new traditions and I hope your "Cozy Mountain" Cabin can be part of it again.

Wow. Cozy Mountain is a gem. It is beautifully decorated and tucked away on a cul-de-sac. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the deck and admiring the great view of the mountains. The downstairs is great for teens and playing games. We will be back to stay!!

Everything about the cabin from the layout to the VIEW far exceeded our expectations! We had one last 'Friedrich Family Retreat' before my brother headed back to Germany and we could not have picked a more perfect cabin to spend it in. Truth be told we did not leave the cabin all weekend. If we were not downstair playing ping pong, darts or air hockey, we were on the back patio off the main living room admiring the gorgeous view while playing a game of Boulderdash or Apples to Apples all while sipping a cold beer. We grilled out every night and it was just perfect. We plan to stay longer next time and take full advantage of the lakes, hiking, etc. Thanks again for your hospitality and we definitely plan on returning to the gorgeous community of Big Canoe, particularly to Cozy Mountain Cabin.

The home is very well decorated and the view is outstanding. The downstairs area was perfect for the kids. I have rented several vacation homes in the past and this was by far the cleanest and best maintained home I have stayed in. Having a quality place like this to stay in makes a big difference in a vacation. You can tell the owners have put a lot of care into the home from the quality of the furnishings, appliances and all of the little touches that they have done throughout. Our entire experience from the quality of the website and information provided, to the communication and planning process, to the end product itself exceeded our expectations. Renting a vacation home from the internet can be difficult because it is really tough to tell what you are getting but the pictures do not do this home justice as to how well it is appointed. All of the ammenities in Big Canoe are first class and only adds to the experience especially if you are vacationing with kids.

What a lovely home! The photographs did not do it justice. It was peaceful, clean, well-equipped, and spacious. Tons of closet space for a long stay. Large supply of firewood and a great coffee station. Decorated nicely enough for a romantic weekend, but also stocked with children's supplies if you bring your kids. The courteous owners provided us with well-organized information and directions. Highly recommended!

We just finished the Thanksgiving week there and had a great week. The "cabin" has everything one needs and wants. The kitchen was complete even with a turkey roaster. Our young kids had a blast and it was very kid friendly. The fireplace kept us cozy. We played tennis and swam in the indoor pool. Also made a run to Blue Ridge for a ride on the Santa Train. The jeep trail was a nice hike. I want to return in the summer and try the rock slide. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at this "cottage." It was so comfortable and really felt like someone's home that we had the privilege of staying in. The owners were wonderful to work with in coordinating the trip. We definitely hope to return to Big Canoe and when we do, we will stay here.

I have visited this great cabin many times over the years. The golf course located inside the community is a great challenge but fun for all levels of play. Fall is my favorite time of year to stay in the mountains. You can sit on the cabins huge back porch and soak up the stunning colors.

This is no cabin, people! It's a beautiful home with beautiful scenery everywhere. Well worth the money and comfortable beyond belief. If you don't want to just sit and enjoy the N.Ga Mountains and the quiet, there is plenty to keep you occupied at Big Canoe. It's a lovely setting and this house will keep you coming back time and again.

Great mountain cabin, very private with great furnishings. Also a fabulous mountain view off of the extra large deck. I would recommend staying here for an extra relaxing weekend get away from the fast pace in Atlanta.
