House is tucked back into the property nearly 300 ft from low-traffic road, offering privacy without feeling secluded or remote.
Catch the sun as it rises over the mountain range to the east with a latte or cup of joe in your hand from our spacious and cozy front porch or the east-facing deck with pergola. Or stay in and stay warm next to the gas fireplace.
The mountains are visible from all sides of the house in all seasons. And the house is newly built, tastefully decorated, featuring Hardwood floors throughout, original artwork and nice amenities.
Open floor plan is great for large gatherings and great outdoor living space. Large kitchen with all new appliances including gas stove, dishwasher, crushed ice maker on refrigerator.

We met in Black Mountain almost 14 years ago, married, moved all around the country, and finally have returned and settled in our favorite mountain town! With the help of friends and family we built this home a little over a year ago. We love living here but enjoy vacationing elsewhere now and then which is what we will be doing if you rent our home! We feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful location and think you will feel the same when you visit. Please make yourself at home!
The Unique Benefits of this House
Views of the mountains right from our house, the accessibility of hiking trails, restaurants, small town shops, and friendly people are perks of living in this town. We host people in our home all the time, relax indoors and out, love having campfires and looking at the stars. We walk into town very often and love throwing leaves into the creek just down the road from our home. We can't imagine living anywhere else and hope we never have to move! We know you will feel right at home here too!

This house is very centrally located and near the walking path to town. Very well decorated, clean and perfect for a family thanksgiving! The decorating is very funky and fun.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thank you for providing such a beautiful, clean, and inviting home for our Black Mountain get-a-way. We were all so impressed with the spacious home...full of bright colors, interesting art work, and those "little touches" that made us feel right at home. The kids had a blast both inside and outside of the house...with the highlight being the "tree house" where my daughter played uninterrupted for 2 hours!! Days were spent enjoying the local shops and restaurants (all within walking distance for us) and nights were spent propping our feet up outside on the decks, cold beer in hand. We would absolutely recommend this property to other travelers, and hope to use it again ourselves!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had a wonderful stay over the holidays at this lovely home - amazing views, nicely decorated, and great layout. The house was the perfect size for us three couples to break in the new year. We'll look forward to coming back! And if the owners are ever looking to move, we'd be interested!!

This was the perfect "home base" for a great vacation with our family. In the 5 days that we were in the area, we were able go to Sliding Rock and the Brevard area waterfalls, The Biltmore, various stops on the Blue Ridge Parkway (Linville Caverns, Craggy Gardens, the Apple Orchard at Altapass, etc.), and, of course enjoy the town of Black Mountain. Even though we enjoyed a different activity each day, we never felt rushed....as there are many options available within close driving distance. In terms of the house, the layout is very open and spacious downstairs, and the upstairs three bedrooms also have and excellent use of space. The front porch is very nice for relaxing - very large. We had a few meals on the porch and enjoyed watching the kids play on the swings/playhouse. We felt very comfortable from the minute we entered the house. This was the perfect house for the entire family to enjoy. If you are looking for a very secluded house, this is not a good fit....but for us, it was perfect.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

This was the perfect place for a girls long weekend away. The house is very clean and comfortable. The location was great for walking into town. This would be a great place for families with small children !!
