Our cottage is located within walking distance to the historic downtown 3rd street, filled with galleries, restaurants, shops, antiques, and new tasting rooms that are popping up everywhere! It is close to Linfield College, less than an hour from the city lights of Portland, and 50 minutes from a bowl of clam chowder on the Pacific Ocean. Add another hour and you can be skiing down Mt. Hood. 30 minutes takes you to our state's capital of Salem.
Relax in a quaint and cozy cottage for two, sit on your own porch overlooking a private big back yard, sit by a fire, have a picnic or BBQ and plan your next day's excursions in this beautiful Willamette Valley.

I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in this cottage during the entire month of December. What an experience it was! The cottage, beautifully decorated in warm and welcoming colors, is cozy and has everything one would need. I often enjoyed the sound of the rain as I gazed out into the lovely gardens. The owners were so kind and helpful, insuring my privacy while making sure I wanted for nothing. The location is perfect allowing for but a short walk to Third Street, the heart of downtown McMinnville, where one finds wonderful shops and restaurants. I would happily return to this little garden cottage and would recommend it to family and friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

I had a great experience staying at this studio cottage. The owners were very thoughtful and non-intrusive. It had several nice touches that made it even more comfortable, such as a full-length mirror and an ironing board. It was very clean and the yard was beautiful. I attended a wedding in town and it was a great place to return to in the evening and to wake up to in the morning.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

The cottage was quiet, cozy, & clean. We enjoyed making breakfast and drinking hot coffee as we looked at the beautiful landscape from the cottage. It was just as the pictures portrayed. It was nice to have the option of enjoying the quiet, watching the news on TV or watching a DVD movie. Our purpose for the trip to Oregon was to see our 1st grandchild, so not much sightseeing this time. The owner was personable and communicated timely as our visit to the cottage approached. We would definitely stay at this cottage on our next visit to McMinnville!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This cottage was very cute and cozy. Wonderful location close to downtown area. I would highly recommend and I would not hesitate to stay again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

We had such a wonderful time tasting wine, rodeo, and Little River Band at the county fair, the tractor parade at the Heritage Center and enjoying several great restaurants. About the owner: I am a retired school teacher and my husband is a retired contractor who keeps busy working on our property here and in Sheridan and California. We decided to share the cottage not only with family but with people who visit McMinnville for its surrounding pleasures and those visiting students at Linfield. We have 5 children and 6 grandchildren nearby. Our lives are busy with the many people we love. We would love to share our space with people who love this area as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
We love where we live, within walking distance to 3rd Street, close to the library and pool and surrounded by nice neighbors. Our backyard is large and private which gives the cottage additional space to sit or be near a fire in the evenings. We walk to restaurants and the local pub to hear live music. Many days we do not even get into our car. I love it here!
