This charming beach condo is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood and the beach is directly across the street, only a short walk from your front door.
Completely furnished 2 BR/2 BR condo on 3rd floor. There is an elevator in the building and it comes with 1 reserved parking spot. Central A/C, washer/dryer in building. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need: toaster, coffee maker, microwave, stove, fridge/freezer, glasses, dishes, cutlery, bake ware, bowls, pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided.
There is a balcony just off the main living area which overlooks the heated pool and gardens. The master bathroom has just been remodeled and there are beautiful wood floors throughout. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the guest bedroom has 2 twin beds. There are 2 large comfortable sofas in the living room which can provide additional sleeping space.
Close proximity to over 50 public championship golf courses. Minutes to downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Las Olas Blvd., and the Performing Arts Center and numerous fine dining establishments. Walking distance to Publix and Dunkin Donuts. 20 minutes to Ft. Lauderdale Airport

Comfortable and close to the beach
We really enjoyed staying at the property - The owner was very flexible and easy to work with. Although the building is fairly old, this unit has been updated with a new master bath and wood floors throughout, which were beautiful. The furniture was not super fancy, but clean and comfortable, and you can tell the property has been very well maintained. The dishes and kitchen equipment were more than adequate, and much better than what I've seen at other rental properties. It is very convenient to the beach, just short walk across the street, and we especially enjoyed the pool just downstairs. There is a Publix and Dunkin' Donuts that is within walking distance and we had a wonderful dinner at the Sea Watch restaurant that is directly across the street. Thanks for making our family vacation so enjoyable. We would definitely rent this property again in the future.

About the owner: I'm a 46 year old single dad who lives in Atlanta. I have a sales management role that allows me to come to Florida often and I love it there and so do my kids. I have a girlfriend who does wonders in helping me make this place a home. All rental income goes to the "I have 3 kids College Fund".
Why the Owner Chose Lauderdale-by-the-Sea:
I love parking my car and not getting back into it for days. You can walk to so many things from this location. The traffic doesn't really come into play. Plus, the weather! Every day is like being on vacation. I feel that no matter what time of year it is, you always have a good chance of getting some sunshine.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
From November through April, you can turn off the A/C and just open the windows and sliding glass door. There is a spectacular breeze that rushes through the unit and you can easily hear the palm trees swaying just outside the door. Also nice is the ability to walk to so many different places, including but not limited to, the beach, downtown, the fishing pier, church, grocery store, pubs, restaurants, etc.
