You will find our luxury condominium located at the spectacular Paraiso Del Mar. La Paz’s newest resort development featuring the first and at the moment only golf course in the La Paz area, Paraiso Del Mar lies at the tip of El Mogote, the peninsula that forms the inner Bay of La Paz. Mogote has always been a special place for Los Paceños, the people of La Paz. They say once you have tasted the wild plums of Mogote you will never leave, a trick the local girls use to keep the men of their dreams in La Paz. Paraiso Del Mar has been built with particular attention to the ecology of Mogote, La Paz and the Sea of Cortez.
Here you can truly enjoy a piece of paradise with an incredible mixture of solitude and city living, La Paz being only a short trip by electric boat across the bay. The white sand beaches of Mogote stretch along the peninsula continuing north up the Baja coast. In the mangroves along the shores of the bay you will find a variety of birds and in the waters below breeding grounds to many of the Sea of Cortez fish species. Here, surrounded by the unique ecosystem that is the Sea of Cortez as well as Baja California Sur’s only truly Mexican city, your dreams of paradise can become real.
Be one of the first to play golf in La Paz at the Arthur Hills golf course that winds throughout the development sharing the dunes, the mangroves and the beaches with views of La Paz and the Sea of Cortez. The next day you can head out and fish for record game fish or dive with the sea lions of the island Espiritu Santu. In the winter months many whale species visit our waters as well as the Pacific shores of Baja. In May and June whale sharks, the world’s largest fish come and feed in the Bay of La Paz. Known for their friendliness, they seem to enjoy encounters with humans and the experience of swimming with a 30 foot long fish will stay with you forever. If you are lucky you might even see a whale shark from your balcony view.
From the four private balconies you will find spectacular views from sunrise to sunset. The beach lies below as does the infinity pool, Jacuzzi and restaurant bar (to be opened by December, 2009). The condo features 10’ high ceilings, travertine floors and bathroom enclosures, 8’ tall sliding glass doors to the verandas and much more to be sure you have a memorable stay. The unique configuration of the condo allows for various rental options, from one to three bedrooms.
In La Paz you will find fine restaurants and a diversity of incredibly delicious tacos at the corner taco stands where the locals meet and eat. La Paz is a clean, safe city where you can enjoy the mix of people and cultures and then plunge into the diversity of one of the great ecosystems of the world, a place Jacques Cousteau once described as the world's aquarium.
