Me and my wife stayed here for our honeymoon. Beautiful and well kept cabin. I have stayed in other cabins in the area and have paid almost double the price and did not have the peace and serenity of this cabin. If you are looking for a nice quiet getaway from it all then Always and Forever is the place to be. Thanks Vickie for allowing us to experience a peaceful getaway for me and my wife's beginning of a new life together

charming cabin

this was our first time ever staying at a cabin. this cabin is absoultly wonderful. looks much better in person than the pics. has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. another plus to this cabin is it has a lock box on it...so no keys to to worry about... no locking yourself out. the cabin across street had this happen so I was very grateful to know we wouldnt have that worry. the location is amazing couldnt ask for a better location. hope to visit again soon ....thanks vickie

Always & Forever is a beautiful cabin with everything you need for a quiet getaway! My husband & I will be leaving tomorrow morning and although we are leaving happy & refreshed, we definitely wish we didn't have to leave. The cabin was clean and everything was as advertised. It is a short drive of about 5 min to Pigeon Forge and when you return to the cabin, you have all the quiet & privacy you want. Thanks to the Shaws for a wonderful stay! WE WILL BE BACK!! :)

We loved your cabin and were pleasantly surprised by the nice bathroom shower not mentioned in the home discription. We also had brought along kindling to start a wood fire. The great surprise that we just had to turn on a switch and the gas log fireplace took off. Great cabin for a couple to get refreshed, read a book, and do a few shows in Pidgeon Forge

Owner response:Yeah, there is something to be said for gas isn't there! Although the smell of a real fire is nice and the ability to poke it, I like the convenience of the gas. Pictures can be deceiving

Where do I start.... this place definitely looks better in the pictures than in reality. When we arrived it seemed a bit warm inside...but it was the end of July and I thought maybe the air conditioning just needed to 'catch up'. WRONG. The air conditioning actually broke. There was a little sign over the thermostat that said not to turn air down below 70 or renter would be held liable for repair! That should have been the first clue that something was amiss. We called the owner and she had someone out to repair it that day but the repairman stated that they have had numerous problems with that unit. It never did get cool, maybe in the winter time it is cool enough. Some of the other problems were that one of the windows had a latch that was broken off (so we felt our things were not secure if we left), 2 windows were screwed shut (owner said due to theft in the past), broken slats on blinds, carpet buckled and stained, fans rattled and shook when used, no place to put clothes (drawers were full of xtra blankets and sheets) no hanging area, kitchen had old utensils and pots and dishes. We have stayed in other cabins in the area which were first class all the way for the same money. When we told the owner we couldn't stay due to the heat and the broken lock on window she did give us one days refund (out of 4 days). We ended up having to leave and stay downtown in a hotel, which was very nicely air conditioned and had a closet for hanging and drawers for clothes! It was worth every penny. So you can't always go by the picture on how nice a place will be. I would not recommend this place it is too far from activites & not kept up. There are much nicer places in the area, much closer to the action than this place.

Owner response:I am so sorry that this guest did not enjoy their stay. When they reported to me that the AC was not working, the AC was completely replaced and the cabin was cool within 4 hours. I told them that the sign over the AC was put there by a management company that I used to let manage the cabin. It was put up there in 2005 when the AC unit and cabin were brand new. The management company put that same sign in every unit they manage, as do most of the management companies in Pigeon Forge. The guests were also told the the same previous management company insisted on screwing the windows shut for theft reasons. There has never been a theft from this cabin. It is completely secure. The one window that the guests complained about was locked and screwed shut as well. I stayed in the cabin the week before this guest did and had already scheduled a carpet company to come out and restretch the carpet but couldn't have it done during the summer when guests were in the cabin all the time. Now that summer is over, the carpet will be restretched as well. The cabin is located exactly 5 miles from the parkway at red light #3. It is very convenient to outlet shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, and anything else that might be needed. Again, I am so sorry that the guests did not like the cabin. I wish they had given me a chance to correct the things they felt needed attention. They would have been taken care of immediately just like the AC was. I have also taken care of most of the other complaints, most the same day they left. I pride myself in keeping my properties in top notch condition and any complaints are taken very seriously and immediately remedied.

My wife and I would like to highly recommend this cabin to anyone especially those who want a romantic get away for you and your true love.We are pastors at a church in North Carolina and wanted to get away and relax.This cabin was so, so, nice.The pictures absolutely do not do it justice.Everything was so clean and beautiful and looked new.The hot tub was so nice and the bed was beautiful.I just can't say enough good about this cabin.We decided to buy steaks and just stay at the cabin the whole time.Praise the Lord for some rest and now we can go back home refreshed and ready to work for the Lord.

Me and my husband stayed here for our honeymoon and we frll in love with this cabin. It only took us like 5 minutes to get to piegon forge. The cabin was beautiful, very clean and equiped with everything you may need. The owner was so pleasant to work with. Our one yearanniversary is coming up and we are thinking about staying again if its available.

Always and Forever

We reserved Always & Forever to begin on Dec. 26, 2010....starting christmas night, and on our drive the next day, the south was experiencing heavy snow. The owner was incredibly helpful. She called me 4-5 times on our way up, giving us updates, as the roads were closed, and we would not be able to get up to the cabin. We were able to find accomodations at a hotel...2 days later, the very moment the roads were clear, the cleaning crew was able to get to the cabin, and Vickie called to offer us the remainder of our stay...which was wonderful! The cabin was very cozy for our family of 3 and 2 pups. My teenager had great internet connection to play XBOX live with his friends....we enjoyed it all. The owners are fantastic to work with....about to reserve again.

White Christmas

We stayed in this beautiful cabin while visiting family in Knoxville. We woke up to a white Christmas (which the dogs loved just as much as we did). After a night full of snow, Vickie let us stay in the cabin for a bit longer until the weather cleared. Vickie was always very quick on getting back in touch and the pictures of the cabin are spot-on. The cabin was spotless and in wonderful condition. Thanks for making such a fantastic Christmas memory for us!

Excellent Last Minute Decision!

My husband I decided to drive from Kentucky for a long weekend to visit the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC and do some shopping and sight seeing in the Seveirville, Pigen Forge, Galtinburg area. We booked "Always and Forver" just two days before we arrived. We were so happy with this decision. It was only about a ten minute drive from all the food and shopping and only an hour and a half from Asheville. We spent a lot of time in the cabin and it really felt like home. This was our third trip to the mountains and if and when we every come back we want to stay in "Always and Forever." Not only was this cabin totally awesome and well equipped, but the owners were very efficeint and easy to deal with when booking. Loved, loved, loved, staying here and considering going back in the spring to bring my doggie!!!

amazing deal and gorgeous cabin1

I came to this cabin for my honeymoon last weekend. The pictures realll don't do it justice. It was gorgeous! Very comfy and very affordable. We looked around VRBO and other rental sights for days but finally decided on this one because of 1, the pricing, 2, the prompt response from the owner and 3, the kindness and hospitality of the owner. She was so nice to speak to and answered any questions we had. Very quiet environment and easy to find. Close to town but out of the way of traffic. We loved it!

Always and Forever - beautiful cabin!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The owners were very helpful in supplying information we wanted to know before commiting to this cabin. The pictures accurately describe the cabin. We enjoyed playing pool and getting in the hot tub. The jacquzzi was also very relaxing. The location is only about 3 miles or so from Pigeon Forge which made it very easy to return to the cabin and venture out again several times a day if we chose to do that. This is the first cabin we've ever stayed at that I felt okay driving to and from it by myself while hubby was in meetings in town. Anyone renting Always and Forever will not be making a mistake. I especially liked that the sleeping area was elevated from the main floor (something you can't tell from the pictures) with subtle lighting built into the plant wall separating the bedroom from the living area. Everything we needed for our stay was waiting for us. We had no problems or complaints and will certainly be staying there at a future time. Thanks to the owners!!

We spent our honeymoon in this cabin for a week. This cabin is an excellent choice for those looking for a quiet, private, and romantic getaway, but yet also still very close to all of the activities! This cabin is very clean and neat. Everything you would need is inside this cabin. The only thing you need to bring is your personal items and that special someone. Beautiful cabin and excellent choice for your next vacation! We are already planning our trip for our first anniversary!
