  Just a note to let you know how pleased we were with our accomodations when we stayed in your condo in Poipu garden. We were there from January 3rd until January 17th.   The location was perfect for beach access and for proximity to the Kauai Marathon start/finish lines. The grounds are beautifully maintained and we really enjoyed the common areas, including the pools and barbeque areas.

  We have been to Kauai many times, and the Regency is rated #1 for us. It’s not only the best all around weather on the island but there are so many things to do within walking distance. The condo is very clean and spacious and very nicely furnished. The owner communications was excellent. You can take a five minute walk to the beach for body board or watch the sea turtles. There are numerous restaurants and shopping. Or relax by the pool or the Jacuzzi and have your favorite cocktail. We will cherish the memories. Ray from Florida

  The regency condo was very comfortable and relaxing. The condo has plenty of room and is tastefully decorated. We enjoyed walks to the beach and nearby restaurants or just relaxing by the pool. It was also fun renting a jeep and exploring the beautiful Island of Kauai. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Poipu and thanks for the great memories. Eileen Bonita Springs Fl

  This villa sits at the top of my list! We have vacationed in Kauai several times and this place is perfect! We enjoy the ialand so much during the day, that we love to come back to the villa, make a meal with fresh ingredients from the islands' farmer markets, in this huge kitchen and grill on the pool deck, while soaking in the jacuzzi! The location is perfect for a walk to the beach to bodyboard then grab a shave ice, or a fabulous dinner, with first class service. The location is perfect as it allows for several day trips to the other sides of the island. I hope you love it as we have for so many years. Aloha!

  We had a great girls getaway in this lovely, clean condo in Sunny Poipu. It was warm and sunny every day...with only a few showers. Easy walk to entertainment and more high end dining and shopping in the nearby Hyatt (Lailani was a joy to hear 3?nts/wk). Walkways and trails galore allow viewing of Monk Seals and Sea Turtles as well as shopping and snorkelling without the need for a car! I enjoyed the master bedroom with tons of closet space and a large ensuite and little lanai. We took lunches and breakfast on the bigger lanai off the living room. If you are up to a good long walk...you could walk to Spouting Horn.Tons of snorkel gear, boogie boards and towels in this condo. I also left an exercise ball. The microwave quit working while we were there, I phoned Cindy and it was replaced the following day by 2 courteous and effiecient fellows. I wasn't surprised because the Hawaiian folks always take very good care of their visitors! My only disappointment was that I was depending on having WiFi and it was not available in this suite. It did have ethernet...but that didn't help me to retrieve my emails with my ipod...had to do that at places that had free wifi as we toured around and shopped. No airconditioning in this unit so the upstairs loft would be pretty warm and has a doorway in the closet that leads to a dark storage room that might be scarey for children. But in spite of these minor things...the price was very reasonable. Although you don't really need one...I highly recommend renting a car. We got a great deal from Enterprise. It was $250 ( includng all fees and taxes)..for 12 days...it is the second driver add-on that will kill you in price if you are not a couple (it will often double your cost)! Most pesonal auto ins. will cover you so check before you leave home and waive that extra cost at the rental counter. Also, bring it back full as they will charge you a higher rate for the fill at the rental place. We travelled all over the island...Lihue is only about 20 minutes for any big shopping and Koloa Town has all your basic needs. We drove to the Hawaiian Village to rent a kayak for the day $35...and paddled 15 minutes to Secret Falls trail. If you only want to rent a car for a cay or two it is easy enough to walk over to the Hyatt to rent one...I was told. This is my second time to Poipu and this location is really nice. Nice to find there were no roosters crowing at 4 a.m. on this property!

  Owner response: As all ways it is nice to hear about all the new experiences and places to explore from our guests. We have resolved the Wi Fi problem, it is now up and running. We have also relocked the owner’s closet, so little guest will not be scared. Our unit does not offer air conditioning, however we have plenty of ceiling fans and a few portable fans to keep you comfortable on those unusual hot days.

  This breezy, spacious two-story condo is in the Poipu Kai resort complex. It is a short walk to four distinct beaches, all fabulous (Body surfing to babies, Poipu's got it all covered)! I don't think the pictures really do it justice, as it has the best, uncrowded location in the Regency section of the complex, is super airy, full of windows and really comfortable for a party of five or six people! The kitchen and bedrooms (and TV) are all huge. It is on the upper level, which makes it quiet and private. The owner is super helpful and considerate - the entire deal made me a big fan of Home Away!

  We just returned from Kauai. We stayed in this Condo for 4 nights and it was very nice. The condo was very clean, beds were comfortable, unit is very spacious. Lanai's have wonderful views of flora and fauna of the complex. Nice 5 minute walk through the complex to Brenneke's and Poipu Beach. Brenneke's beach had great waves. Brenneke's Restaurant was very good and nice walk from Condo. A great value.

  Aloha Cindy, Mahalo for allowing us to use your Poipu Beach condo. Your communication prior to our visit was exemplary and sealed the deal for us in determining where to stay in Kauai. As a first-time renter on homeaway.com, I was a little nervous. But your e-mails and phone conversation took away all my concerns. Once in Kauai, the 25-minute drive from the airport and the condo check-in were effortless, and given our late 11:00pm arrival, very much appreciated. Kauai was such a great change of pace during our 2-week Hawaii trip. We started in Oahu and ended in Maui, staying in Kauai in the middle part of our vacation. The relaxing pace of Kauai and the Poipu sunsets were incredible. Your location and the size of the condo were perfect. The younger kids (11 and 8) loved the upstairs bedroom and the pool. And of course of older daughter enjoyed having her own room too. The residents and other guests at the condo were very friendly. We met people that lived full-time at the resort, along with visitors from Denmark and New Mexico. One of the highlights of our entire trip was a Friday evening on Poipu Beach. There was a free kids’ movie held right on the beach at 8:00pm. The sunset was spectacular that night and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the beach-themed movie (Surf’s Up) while listening to the real waves crashing on the shore. We only found out about this event early in the morning by chance, and it turned out to be one of our favorite activities on our vacation. Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali coast were everything that we expected. As one person near us mentioned while overlooking the Na Pali coast – “this must be what heaven looks like”. The Kipu Ranch ATV tour was exhilarating. They’re just starting to film part of Pirates of the Caribbean 4 on the ranch. We didn’t get to see Johnny Depp (much to our older daughter’s dismay), but overall the experience of driving the ATV’s was well worth it. This was the first time we’ve driven ATV’s, and it is something that we would highly recommend. Our also son really enjoyed the wildlife sanctuary up north at the Kilauea lighthouse.
