We are local log home dealers and often use this cabin as a sales model. Ceiling fans and maple hardwood floors through out. Cabin is located for easy town access just off of Hwy. 49 going to Grass Valley. Cabin is on a one acre parcel with plenty of parking. Central heat, air and a free standing propane fireplace. Satellite 32" TV with lots of programs and local channels. Two single foldaway beds available for third and forth persons. Limit is four people for usage. Under the cabin large rear balcony is a lower patio fenced area with gas BBQ available for usage. Available for renters (Summers) usage is Wolf Creek recreation in OUR close by backyard. Our log home is located 10 minutes away on 600' of Wolf Creek, whitewater, gold panning, Trout fishing and swimming (Summer time usage).
Age requirement to rent is 21 years of age. $120/night (2 night minimum) $795/week for double occupancy. Pets $10/night (with prior approval) pets 15#, or less. $200 deposit for your reservation. $300 fully refundable security deposit. 1/2 rental fee, $200 min. 30 days prior to stay. Reminder due two weeks before stay. Full refund on rental 30 days prior to stay. No refund less than 30 days prior to stay unless re-booked. Additional cleaning fee $30 for two days, $40 for full week, or more. Unit available year round. Pets considered case by case. 40 lbs., or less, $10 per day for pets and a additional security deposit.
It is really like a lodge with 5,000+ sq. ft. of covered structure with most every upgrade that we could come up with. Our front porch has a 1902 Stubaker Doctors Horse Carriage. One used in the Bonanza series and Dessie Arnez Studio Productions. Out house, lounge chairs, etc. and frig available for usage at the Wolf Creek itself. The right side about 200' with a patio, lounge chairs by the water is available for renters private usage during the Summer months. Left 400' is for our private usage only. We have just signed up with VRBO and do not have a credit card system is place yet. Payment at the moment will have to be check (allowing time to clear), or cashiers check for immediate usage. Two hundred deposit to include cleaning deposit. Linens and towels are provided. Unit has one bedroom with a double bed. Two additional single rollaway beds are available. $30 cleaning fee for two nights, $40 for a week of usage

Year Purchased: 2008
This is one of four log homes we have had in the past 25 years. We are both retired and I use to build log homes as a CA. licensed contractor. I am retired from the airlines as a maintenance inspector. We have lived here is Grass Valley for 12 years and find this to be an exceptional location to live. There is ever so much to do in the area for a tourist. Special events with the town streets closed down with various venders. Nevada City right next to Grass Valley is like going back in town. The National Hotel in Nevada City has a Tuesday dinner special for Steak & Lobster for only $14.99. We travel often and I stay in touch with the internet. Why the Owner Chose Grass Valley
We searched various cities all over N. CA. Grass Valley is at about 1,800' elevation. Just right as when it snows all is pretty much gone the next day. There is just so much to do with special events all year long. Not that hot during the Summers. People are very friendly all over town. A must is the LinQuest Chinese Buffet. Dinner and soft drink for about $11. Located in McKnight, about 4-5 miles away. I can assure you that this will be one fine buffet. Ever thought about a log home for retirement, or vacation. Here is your chance to try one out. We sell them through out the U.S. Just something we really enjoying doing and meeting folks all over the country.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
There is just nothing like the warmth of a log home and the smell of wood. The location is close to every so much for one to have things to do. Whitewater rafting, photos of us doing this on the above links. Fishing, hiking, boating and ever so many lakes to visit in the area. Even places to try your luck at gold mining, or even visit a mine for that matter. The Empire Gold Mine has structures built from material 11,000' deep. All over town you can view photos of the miners in the 1800. Stories about how during he great depression how this area still did well from the gold mining. Grass Valley was were most folks lived and the elite lived in Nevada City. View all the Victorian homes everywhere, just like going back in time.
