This North Myrtle Beach vacation rental (located in the Cherry Grove area) is a beach property that is absolutely comfortable with its at-home feeling. You must consider many different factors when thinking about beach vacation rentals. 'Location, location, location' is one of the reasons I bought Indian Summer beach cottage. It only takes you two minutes to walk to stores or restaurants. Take a run or a stroll on the beach and you will have magnificent views. Walk to Cherry Grove pier (known for its fishing) where you can fish for a fee or 'drive' to 53rd avenue where there is free fishing on the channel. The nearby 53rd avenue area also includes a boat ramp, small pier, & a gazebo for a picnic or just relaxing, & a place to take kayaks out. Cherry Grove is a very relaxing beach that has super sunrises if you get up early enough to see them. The beach has a great width for flying kites, playing games, or just sun bathing. Look at 'Other Activities' below for some things to do. With all of this nearby, how can you not have a great vacation! NO RATES are given for less than a wk during prime season! EVERY WEEKLY RENTAL (rented thru owner) WILL BE PLACED IN A DRAWING AT THE END OF SEPT FOR ONE FREE WEEKEND!!

Families, church groups, corporate lodgers, bikers, reunions, & golf groups are welcome. The beach house is fully equipped & comfortably sleeps 11 people in the three bedrooms. There is carpeting throughout except for the kitchen & bathroom areas.

Downstairs: Bedroom One - 2 Doubles with connected bathroom, 1 rollaway in the walk-in closet
Upstairs: Bedroom Two - 1 Queen Bed
Upstairs: Bedroom Three - 2 Double Beds
Each bedroom comes furnished with a large dresser, night stand with reading lamp, color tv, vcr, mirror, and chair. Additionally, a new ceiling fan has been added to each bedroom for extra comfort. The living room with its cathedral ceiling has great architectural design along with a large television, radio, dvd, and phone. Available for your entertainment are games, puzzles, movies, and books for kids & adults. Not every place you rent includes these but we truly want you to enjoy yourselves. Each bed has a mattress pad and pillows are covered with pillow protectors for your added protection.
Besides that, our kitchen has the normal items but is fully stocked with lots of extras for a rental house. More dishes, pots, pans, skillets, glasses, silverware, and a cutting board have been added. Kitchen appliances include: toaster, blender, microwave, coffeemaker with filters, toaster oven, a stove, fullsize refrigerator, oven, wafflemaker and a new dishwasher. Some spices w/salt & pepper are included also. The kitchen breakfast bar seats three people along with a generous countertop. Also, the dining room is furnished with a glass covered oak table and chairs. A high chair is provided for those with small children. Four smoke detectors & a fire extinguisher are there for your safety plus we have central heat/ac for your added comfort. Extra light bulbs & filters for the air conditioning system are in the laundry room for your use when needed. In addition, cleaning supplies have been left to help you with cleaning or spills.
The laundry room contains a full sized washer and dryer. Likewise, an iron & ironing board with a vacuum cleaner are available for your convenience on each floor. Relax, read a book, or get a tan on our large 26 foot outdoor deck furnished with two round tables, a couple of end tables, eleven chairs & cushioned metal rockers & a charcoal grill.
For an additional charge, bed linens and towels are available when you rent Indian Summer beach house.

We also have 2-night rentals available year round except for June to Labor Day (peak season) which are weekly rentals ONLY, Sorry no monthly rentals or renting to students. We will only rent for less than a week during the summer season if you call five days or less before the rental time wanted. We offer both summer and winter rentals for your convenience. The beach is the typical big draw in the summer but North Myrtle Beach is also popular for beach winter getaways & for renting winter homes. This is because there are so many different things to do not pertaining to the beach. Typical warm months for Cherry Grove rentals are from May thru Sept. If you investigate the weather further, you would notice that the months of May and Sept are truly bargain months to get really great rental rates. These are not prime rental months but the weather is still warm enough to go swimming or do other outdoor activities.

People generally choose home rentals based on value, luxury, service, price, or location to the following: beach, other amusements, businesses & attractions. The driving distances from some major cities (in miles) are as follows: Washington, DC - 426, Chicago, IL - 998, Detroit, MI - 856, New York, NY - 661, Toronto, ON - 946, Atlanta, GA - 369.
One half of the rental amount is the deposit due to hold a reservation (if made 30 days before the rental reservation). After that time the entire rental amount would be due. Rentals are for weeks only from June thru Labor Day.
The vacation home can be used as a corporate retreat for executives and your staff. If you are attending conventions or trade shows, consider having more room and amenities than just staying in a hotel room. How about hanging out for class or family reunions and other family gatherings. We also know that authors sometimes need a winter retreat to work on their writing. Think out of the box and not just think of the house for taking a beach vacation when it can be used for so many other functions!

It has been a great pleasure staying here at this beautiful Indian Summer home! We just got back from our vacation and can't stop thinking about going back!! This home is so laid-back and it feels just like home. Everything is so convenient, only a block away from the beach and to the stores. We'll surely come back and especially recommend this place to our families and friends!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

**INDIAN SUMMER: Rents Sat thru Sat only** You must be 25 years or older to rent. $870-1445/wk depending on when you want to go. There are WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY during prime season from June thru Labor Day. Rates are higher holidays & special events. From Sept-Apr,there is a 2-nite minimum rental. 12% state taxes are requir ed by the state of South Carolina. This is an economical beach vacation rental for the space & many extra amenities that are included. NO RENTALS TO STUDENTS. Money Orders accepted also. NO RATES are given for less than a week during prime season unless house isn't rented a few days before the time you would want!!

About the owner: One of my goals as a high school student was to graduate from college. Upon graduating from East Carolina University with a degree in Biology, I worked for Dupont as a Plastics Technician. I began looking at beach homes in North Myrtle Beach and purchased my beach house rental while still in my 20's. As a child, we got to visit the beaches quite regularly which has always been a complete joy to me. The Cherry Grove section is one of the nicest beaches in the area. It is conveniently located near lots of shopping, great restaurants, golf and many more amusements. There are absolutely lots of beach vacation homes & winter houses for rent. But this vacation home rental is so close to everything that you only have a 1-minute walk to the ocean and a 2-minute walk to the huge two-story Boulineau's grocery store, a video/book store, teeshirt shop, laundromat, or one of the oldest ice cream stores in the surrounding areas. The cherry grove pier is only a 10-minute walk. In addition, the Cherry Grove Beach area has unobstructed panoramic views of the glorious natural beauty of the ocean. Why not also rent this winter home in the offseason when there are less crowds for a relaxing winter vacation?

I chose 'Indian Summer' because it only takes you one minute to walk to the beach. If you want to take a run or a stroll on the beach, you most definitely will enjoy magnificent views of the landscape. Compared to other North Myrtle beach vacation rentals that you could rent, the house is truly a bargain. We are also not far from the main road of Highway 17 where a host of entertainment, restaurants, and golfing sites are abundant. It is a great place to enjoy your family and friends by telling a few stories, some jokes, or just catching up with each other. Come on down and make some great memories to remember. And don't forget about the winter golf packages that are available. We know you can rent any number of vacation rental homes but we hope that you will choose ours.
