This home provided the perfect Chic Country Cottage feel my fiance and I were looking for on our getaway from the city. The views of the mountains and lake were absolutely spectacular from the master bedroom, living room and hot tub - complete with, what perhaps we notice most as "city folk" the smell of Fresh COUNTRY air! The interior was classic and country chic that provided the comfort feeling of a "home" as opposed to a "rental space". The location is perfectly situated on the mountain and allows for a beautiful walk to the ASCI White Water Rafting (it is MAN-MADE course and a most see and experience for all!!) We absolutely loved the home and the location for our getaway and look forward to renting it again for SNOW SEASON - you literally walk out the back door and Ski right onto the mountain! What a perfect getaway!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We loved our stay! The condo was extremely clean and cute. Everything we needed was already there so there was no need to bring anything but our suitcase!. It's close to ASCI and the Wisp so the location was perfect. We are looking forward to spending some time there this summer because we had such a great time this winter.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Horrible house reeking of MOLD

When we entered this house, we were just appalled by the smell. It smelled strongly of mold and cat pee even though it was supposed to be a pet-free property. The basement appeared to have been recently flooded, and the carpet was still damp. The whole area reeked of mold. We had a 2 yr old with us, and after one night, her eyes started leaking pus due to the air quality and mold. This is the first time in YEARS from renting from VRBO we have had a problem! This is NOT acceptable and should not have been available for rent. The basement carpet needs replacement, and then the whole house should be fumigated and cleaned. When we contacted for a refund (I expected at least HALF back) we were stonewalled- told by the property manager to contact the owner. The number we were given for the owner led to an answering machine. Numerous calls were not returned. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE HOUSE!!!
