Welcome to Woodhaven! You will enjoy a relaxing vacation in our spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium in Woodhaven Country Club. The 1400 square foot end unit is on one level. The private patio looks out across the 4th fairway, and includes a 3 burner stainless BBQ with rotisserie, upgraded patio furniture, misters, and a fan with a light for evening dining. Southern exposure means that it will be bright and light all day long, and if you don’t want as much sun there is a patio covering that filters the light.
The travertine tile entrance leads you into this home. High ceilings throughout give a feeling of spaciousness. The gourmet kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, as well as a wine fridge. For the cook there are top of the line pans and knives, cookbooks, and everything else you need to turn out a terrific meal. There are a variety of table linens for entertaining inside in the dining room or out on the patio.
In the inviting living room are comfortable couches for reading or lounging, a tiled gas fireplace, and a 42” flat screen HDTV to make your visit more enjoyable. Along with the DVD player and stereo are a collection of movies and CD’s, as well as an IPod dock and surround sound.
The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. The master includes a king bed and a large walk in closet, as well as a desk, a reading chair, and a 36” TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed and large closet. There is new carpeting throughout the unit. Bathrooms, with porcelain tile floors, feature two sinks and an oversized shower in the master, and a full sized tub in the guest bath. There is a washer and dryer conveniently located inside the unit.
You can park your car in the two car garage that includes a remote, and if you feel like biking there are two cruiser type bicycles and helmets.
The Woodhaven complex includes 4 swimming pools, which are rarely crowded. The closest pool, with lounges and a hot tub, is a very short walk at the end of the block. There are also 8 newly surfaced tennis courts and a fitness center. The 18 hole par 70 golf course is beautiful. The clubhouse and restaurant are newly remodeled. Next to the pro shop is a cafe for dining before or after your golf game. Various social activities are available to you at the clubhouse in high season. If you are a walker there is a great mile and half walk around the complex on a very quiet street.
Woodhaven is a gated community with security conveniently located 2 miles from Interstate 10. We are within 10 minutes of the Indian Wells Tennis Center, El Paseo Drive. Costco, Trader Joes, and many shops and outstanding restaurants are even closer. Numerous hiking trails and golf courses are close by. Palm Springs airport is about a 20 minute drive. The home includes books on the history of the area, as well as hiking guides and sample restaurant menus.

Why the Owner Chose Woodhaven Country Club
We love this area because of the sun and all of the outdoor activities available, including not only golf but tennis, bike riding, hiking, and shopping. We bought at Woodhaven because it is a beautiful spot and every home is on the golf course. It is a large enough community to have great amenities, but small enough to walk around and feel comfortable. People are friendly and helpful. It has a great golf course and the grounds are beautiful.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We plan on living here someday, and since we bought we have been constantly upgrading the unit to make it into a place we want to live in. We have equipped the kitchen with everything you might want, and enough dishes to throw a great party. Last year we tiled the bathrooms and kitchen and put in top of the line carpeting. This is much more like a home than a rental unit. The unit is very comfortable, light, and bright. We are within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee houses. Joshua Tree National Monument is about 40 minutes away, the airport in Palm Springs is only 20 minutes, and the discount stores are about 30 minutes. El Paseo, with all of its shops, is only a few minutes away. You can easily get anywhere in the desert from here.

We are educators in the Seattle area, and we hope to live in this home someday. Our children love to visit us here, and we travel here whenever we can. We have traveled extensively through Europe and Africa, but always like to return here. This picture is of a sunny breakfast on the patio.

I have been going to Palm Springs/Palm Desert for 29 years, always looking for that "perfect" getaway place. I found it. Looked on the internet last year on my last night at Woodhaven and found Jann's place. Lucky for us, she was sitting on her patio as I drove by in a golf cart. I asked if she was the owner and she said she was and kindly showed us around. Beautiful!! Updated everything. A real treat. I have stayed at many places over the years. Some good, some bad, some really bad, but we hope that we can look forward to many enjoyable springtimes at Jann's condo. It is very tastefully appointed. One of the nicest things is that there is no junk or clutter, left behind by previous renters. Great flat screen TV, fabulous kitchen with new appliances and amazing cookware, flatware, dishes and glassware. The whole place has inviting character. We had friends come by and they said that they can see why we have already booked for two moths next year. (and we hope, many years to come) Location on Wahington Street is perfect. Very central to everywhere. Close to I10, and lots of other shops. Two cruiser bikes in the garage which are great fun. The patio even has a fan and a mister system, for those hot nights Most importantly, it is all so clean and fresh. If you want to get away for a great stay, better call Jann. Ken & Arlene May 2011

We enjoyed staying in this condo very much: extremely clean and comfortable property, very well furnished, new appliances, and the kitchen includes all the tools you can think of. The owner is very helpful and easily available for any questions.We have rented many vacation properties in Europe, and none were as well appointed as this condo. We would recommend it to anybody. We went to the beautiful McCallum theater, and my husband rented a plane and piloted it from the Bermuda Dunes Airport. All kinds of stores are very close, and we liked Casey, a restaurant very nearby.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

I spent the entire month of November in this lovely condo.It is clean, neat ,tidy and comfortable.the owners are helpful and available if needed.I found my visit to be without hassle or problems. the property is nicely maintained and the location is excellant. The kitchen has whatever is needed to be able to cook,the baths and bedrooms are located to allow for privacy and the dining/living area is Great for comfortable living. I highly recommend this condo for rental.

Rental was quick and easy positive owner. We arrived and it was in great shape, move in ready. Fully self contained. Everything worked properly,Clean, safe environment. We attended the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, About 8 miles away Via 10 Fwy. Close to everything Starbucks, market, Restaurants. Gate Guards helpful Neighbors friendly. Would recommend to anyone, and will re book soon

Marge and I were totally impressed with the unit. It was very nicely appointed and had everything to make our stay extremely enjoyable. The south facing patio allowed us to have breakfast, lunch and dinners out there, as there was lots of sun all day. The owner was very easy to deal with and the entire Woodhaven complex is very well maintained. We will definitely stay at this condo again.

I have had a wonderful, relaxing time here. Your desert home is beautiful. I took a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park, and it was a great experience--lots of birds and wildlife and even a desert tortise. I can hardly wait to come back! Good places to eat--the Cliff House happy hour, and also had a good lunch at Babes in Rancho Mirage. Thanks for a great vacation experience!

We have stayed at this property many times and have found it to be a delightful experience. The unit is well-equipped and nicely decorated. It is located in a quiet, sunny section of the development and is a relaxing and enjoyable place to spend time. The patio is very pleasant with new fan and BBQ. Woodhaven itself is a well- maintained, pleasant development. At this unit, you are close to two pools and right on the golf course. We highly recommend staying here and having a great desert experience.
