This house was just wonderful for our extended family while we where in Tulsa for a week long horse show. The rooms were spacious and the neighborhood was quiet. The layout of the house was good. Clear details and explanations of the furnishings were provided to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this house to others, and have already booked our stay for next year.

Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family & I recently rented the Toledo home while in town for my brother-n-law's wedding. We had 3 adults and 4 teens. We TOTALLY enjoyed our stay! House was very nice, clean, and the location couldn't have been any better. Very close to all of our venues and just minutes from all of our shopping needs. Particularly liked the convienence of having a washer & dryer to keep up with all of our laundry. We had PLENTY of room and were very comfortable! Don't let the fact that there is only 2 bedrooms fool you...it is a very spacious home. Also, owner's were very nice and left specific instructions, along with some traveller's guide information that was very helpful. Would definitely recommend highly.

Owner response:We have made a few changes to this property. We have replaced the sleeper sofa in the den with 2 twin beds and added a closet. Therefore the property is now a 3 bedroom. There is still plenty of living space, but more privacy and more comfort with a 3rd bedroom.

My nephew recently graduated from the University of Tulsa, we rented Toledo Place for the weekend and my family praised me on the decision! our stay was wonderful, my children felt right at home :) our gathering to celebrate my nephew's graduation was perfect at Toledo Place! the house is immaculate ! extremely comfortable thank you!

Home away from Home

Stayed here for a week for a local dog show and it was the best decision for both the dogs comfort and ours. Upon arrival, there was a problem with the neighbor who was replacing a 16ft section of fence and we could not let the dogs loose for another day which was annoying after being on the road for 3 days. I don't think the neighbor alerted the property owner to their plans. Only other downside was that the sleeper sofa was typically uncomfortable...adding an air mattress on top solved the problem. Otherwise the property was great and suited our needs. Washer and Dryer were a huge advantage with 3 adults and an infant - a hotel would have meant packing many more clothes! Master bath had large open shower for handicap accessibility. Owners were excellent about keeping in contact and providing details on the home. So thankful owner noted that bait was set out for rodent control so I was able to safely set it aside while we had dogs on the property. I have become a fan of the VRBO network after this stay and for our next extended visit, VRBO will be my first choice for finding lodging.

I was not aware that the fence was being replaced and I apologize for the inconvenience to all. The air mattress on the sofa bed is a great idea. I am going to purchase one today to keep there. We appreciate all feedback from our guests as we want them to have a comfortable, safe and enjoyable visit to Tulsa.

Thanksgiving stay

This was our second year to stay here, and will definitely be back. Great location, quiet neighborhood, spacious house with two living areas with TV's. Owners are wonderful to work with, and even let us stay an extra night when we lost our keys!

Great short term housing

Because of a delayed closing this past spring, I needed a temporary place to live. This property certainly met my needs. Conveniently located near the entrance to the Broken Arrow Expressway, I was able to drive to my job or anywhere else in Tulsa within minutes. I work evenings and the neighborhood was quiet for day sleepers. I really enjoyed the wireless internet, flat screen TV and everything else I needed for comfortable short term housing.

As a former Tulsan, this location was ideal for us, easy access to everything we needed: mid-town events, the zoo (easy to jump on 1-44), other friends and families, etc. We LOVED the floorplan; it was great for our 3 young kiddos, and I could see it being great for even 3 couples even (plus a few kids.) Two nice living areas, plenty of room to spread out, laundry room in master bath was perfect (again, we had 3 young kids so plenty of laundry and glad I didn't have to do it in the hall or a garage.) Since we travel alot, we offered the owners some suggestions of amenities to add, and I suspect they will be in place soon, as they were very receptive. Cons? linoleum flooring in 2nd bedroom, not a big deal to us, but perhaps others. No garage door remote opener for the spacious garage (nice to unpack the SUV in the cool garage though.) Curb appeal not quite as manicured as the photo here shows, but we didn't spend any time out front, just noticed it. We will definitely go back. Thought we needed the larger 3 bedroom, but this house had plenty of room! (Easier to clean up when you leave too!)

Owner response:We welcome all feedback and suggestions from our guests as we want this vacation rental to be comfortable and welcoming to all. We have added the amenities suggested by this guest, such as a hairdryer, blender and non-wire hangers. I am currently comparing carpet squares to cover the 2nd bedroom floor. After much consideration, my husband and I have decided against providing garage door openers to guests. We feel this would be something that would go home in guests' cars by mistake resulting in an added expense to guests for replacement. Also if the garage door opener was lost or stolen, this would be a security risk for all future guests.
