The naturally warm water at Broadwing Farm is drawn from a well deep below the valley and comes up at 85 degrees. We fill your private hot tub with only fresh warm water, setting the temperature control to 100 degrees. You may adjust the temperature to your liking upon arrival. The hot tub is outside. The tub and cabin are completely private and surrounded only by pine trees for a relaxing soak and stay under the stars.
We grow a variety of crops with our main market crops of heirloom tomatoes, blackberries plus a bountiful kitchen garden available for purchase by our cabin guests in season. Our guests are also welcome to enjoy fishing in our scenic farm pond which is stocked with catfish and blue gill.

Owner's Map of Hot Springs

Our family moved to Hot Springs in the Fall of 1992. We began farming organic vegetables for tailgate markets in Hot Springs and Asheville and sold a wide range of vegetables, plants, flowers, jams and baked goods. In 2001 we decided to open up the farm to guests, renting a cabin we had built on the property. It was a great success and we now have three cabins available for nightly and weekly rental year round. While drilling a well for water (we formally relied completely on the town water system) we were surprised to find the famous Hot Springs mineral water, which we are happy to share with our guests. The farm is ever changing and evolving. We now grow two main crops, organic heirloom tomatoes and blackberries, and sell to local stores and restaurants from Hot Springs to Asheville, also making these crops and our garden vegetables available to our guests when in season. We offer organically grown vegetable, flower and herb plants in the Spring and sell annually, the first weekend of May, at the Spring Herb Festival located at the Western North Carolina Farmer's Market in Asheville, NC.

It was rainy, but we still found time for rafting with Huck Finn and climbing Lover's Leap trail. Both were fabulous experiences. Your cabin is so cozy and provides such a great place to stay.

Pete and Mary, My family and I want to express our sincere appreciation for the accommodations you made for us. I am sorry for the people on the Outer Banks who had troubles from Hurricane Earl, but in a way I'm happy we were evacuated so we got the chance to stay on your lovely farm. We love the scenery and of course, THE HOT TUB!!!

We had a great time at this cabin. You have made the cabin feel very at home and we love waking to the sunrise and mountains at our windows. It's not often we get to really relax, but being here made us forget all our worries.

A girls weekend adventure to celebrate 21 years of friendship brought us to your lovely cabin. We left our husbands, kids and busy work lives behind to relax and catch up. All of our stress melted away in the hot tub! We loved the cabin, property and town of Hot Springs. We'll recommend Broadwing Farm to all our friends and family.

This is our 4th visit to Broadwing Farm. The Poplar Cabin has given us the opportunity to kick back, relax and get a much needed rest away from crazy jobs and a lively family. Thanks so much for allowing us once again to soak away the city under the constellations while that big old bullfrog sang from the pond.

Over the years visiting Hot Springs and Asheville, we can honestly say the Poplar Cabin "tops the list". Your property is wonderful. The snow on our last day made our stay incredible. Early white Christmas for the family from the beach. You have a perfect setting.

Thank you, Mary and Pete for dreaming up such a lovely cabin. Thank you, tall slender poplars for your beautiful wood to keep us sheltered. Thank you, starry sky for blessing us that night. And thank you, Randy, for such a sweet birthday present.
