When we arrived we were pleased to see that this home was everything we'd seen on the website and more. It was clean and very well maintained with a welcoming feel to it, we immediately felt like we were home. A very roomy feel to the house, large master with a great bed, sitting/dining area and modern kitchen with walk out to the private pool area. The pool was a lifesaver on a hot day, we enjoyed it thoroughly. We loved being by the barrio, the locals were friendly and helpful and it was only a short walk into the downtown area with many great restaurants to chose from. The owners and the property managers were great in answering any questions we had both before we arrived and while we were there. The attention to security made for a worry free holiday and we are hopeful that we can return again next year.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: My husband and I just love Mexico and especially the Barra De Navidad area. Our house was completed in December 2008 and in the future we plan to retire there. We love the ocean, the people, the food and music of 'The Real Mexico'.

We fell in love with this area after vacationing in Mexico. This area is safe, friendly and is a great example of the simple life in Mexico.
