Don’t pay for an overpriced and impersonal hotel when you can have your very own pied-à-terre in the heart of Boston. This 19th Century Brownstone, 2 bedroom, 700 sq foot (65m2) apartment is located in the trendy South End Historic District.
The condo features wood floors throughout, a sunny living room with sofa-bed, fully outfitted kitchen with exposed brick and stone countertops, two bedrooms (1 with queen bed, other with a full bed and a convertible twin) and a full bathroom. Kid friendly with a pack-and-play child's bed available for your use. Unit comes equipped with cable television, PlayStation2, and free high speed Internet. There is a common outdoor patio.
Beware of ads claiming to be "near," "just over the line from" or "ten minute drive to" Boston. Many of these are in inconvenient or undesirable areas. The location here can’t be beat, right on Boston’s Restaurant Row, with numerous choices literally at your front door, most offering seasonal outside dining. In the same building is an upscale wine shop and nice Senegalese restaurant. Across the street is a Thai Fusion/Steakhouse restaurant, as well as a sushi bar and wine bar. One block down is a Tapas restaurant, as well as the Boston landmark, Mike’s Diner—a favorite of President Bill Clinton and other celebs.
Near public transportation, with Silver Line (10 min ride to Downtown Crossing and Boston Common) and #1 and CT (direct service to Cambridge and Harvard Square~20 mins) buses stopping across the street. Orange Line T stop is four blocks away. Short walk to Northeastern University, Back Bay, Copley and Prudential.
Boston Convention Center, Hynes Convention Center, Fenway Park, and BU all nearby.

Why the Owner Chose Boston
I lived in this condo for 4 years, until work and family moved me to the suburbs. It's in an ideal, central location, convenient to all of the best that Boston has to offer. I must say, I do miss the "walkability" of city life.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Location is everything--and here, the city is literally at your doorstep. The beautiful South End, with its trendy shops and restaurants is there for the taking. A short walk or ride away is Newbury Street, Copley Square, Beacon Hill and Boston Common, as well as Fenway Park and the museums.

Owner's Map of Boston
I'm a native-born New Englander, and have lived in Boston for 13 years, though I spent my formative years in the South. I like to think that I've been able to import some of that "southern hospitality" to the sometimes chilly Northeast.

Came to Boston for the first time to visit the Berklee School of Music where my sonwants to go. What an amazing city! We loved the public transportation—being from San Diego, this was new to us. Was great to be able to get anywhere we wanted to go! Great condo—size, location—we loved it! Thanks for your hospitality. --Sharrar Family, San Diego, CA
