This cottage is located on 200 feet of sand beach on Lake Michigan, a half mile off the highway in a forest with deer, wild birds, and eagles. It is a portion of 660' of lake frontage containing three cottages on 5 1/2 secluded wooded acres. It is adjacent to VRBO's "Lake Michigan Cabin" and "Lake Michigan Chalet".
A large deck in the front is accessible through a sliding glass door from the dining area. Deck furniture, a picnic table, and a log swing are in the front yard. Hummingbirds, songbirds, squirrels, and chipmunks regularly visit the bird feeders. The beach has a fire pit. The water depth is gradual, so it is wonderful for little children and dogs to play in.
Books, videos, puzzles, board games, croquet, and a barbecue grill are provided. There is a full bath with tub and shower; all towels and linens are provided; the kitchen, which overlooks the lake, is complete for baking and cooking, and some basic supplies and spices are provided.
One of the bedrooms has a queen bed; the larger bedroom has a set of bunk beds, a double bed and a game table. A crib, portacrib, and high chair are available upon request. All bedding is provided. The maximum number of guests is six. The living/dining room has a satellite TV, a couch, two easy chairs, a dining table for six, and a wood-burning fireplace, with wood provided. All you need are your groceries and your clothing; everything else is here!

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Summer 2009: $675/week; After Labor Day: $450/week
A $200 deposit is requested when making a reservation; The remainder of
the rent is due upon arrival along with a $100 damage deposit.
There is no additional damage deposit for pets.
Check-in is after 3:00 on Saturday; check-out is
11:00 on Saturday. The maximum number of guests is six.
