The Gamekeeper's Carriage House was formerly a part of the Redstone Castle Estate and is now on the National Register of Historic Places. This unique property on six acres is secluded yet steps away to the Crystal River and walking distance to the quaint village of Redstone. The Carriage House, originally a turn of the century carriage house, has a living room with vaulted ceilings, a wood stove for ambiance, master suite with queen log bed plus bath with a large soaking tub/shower and cozy robes.
The country kitchen is well equipped, open to dining area with an antler chandelier, and large windows looking out to 80-year-old spruce & ponderosa. Upstairs is a sitting/sleeping area with twin beds and a second bath. Also provided is a satellite TV/DVD, books and board games. The Carriage House has a private hot tub under the stars to enjoy after great adventures and a beautifully landscaped yard in an alpine setting which encourages barbecuing, a picnic, a game of horseshoes or a glass of wine and a good book.
