We have a 6 year old and a 23 month old. This ground level condo was PERFECT for small children. We didn't have to worry about stairs or elevators. The condo was so nice and it had everything we needed. We will for sure be coming back to this condo. We had a GREAT time.Recommended for: Families with young children.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this particular unit, and we love it! It is maintained well, always clean, and has plenty of space for a 1 bedroom unit. It is on the ground floor, which makes going to the pool/beach even easier. This is so much nicer than staying in a hotel: you can do your laundry in your room and cooks full meals in your room. We really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, since it was still a little chilly when we stayed (so the outdoor pools were too cold to swim in comfortably). This resort has everything you need!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Very comfortable unit. The bunk beds are normal sized twins with a safe construction. This is a nice unit that is as advertised. We enjoyed the unit. This is our 3rd unit to stay in at Gulf Shores Plantation and for the size it is the best unit that we have stayed in at this very nice complex. Thank you for the opportunity to visit.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Absolute beautiful condo and as always the beach is the most wonderful in Ft.Morgan. We have visited Gulf Shores Plantation several times but I must say this one was the most comfortable place we have ever vacationed in before.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This is a very nice condo. The recent updates of paint, appliances, flooring and counters are nicely done. A good change from the typical teal, peach and yellow with wicker. Being on the ground floor has some nice pluses for ease of unloading and loading the car and getting to the beach without constantly waiting for the elevator. We did find it to be a little noisier on the ground level compared to being up a couple floors. Trade offs. Very nice touches with the paper products and some dish and laundry soap. We have been renting in the area for 22 years and this was one of the nicest condos.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, people with disabilities.

My family loved our stay here during spring break! The place was clean and well cared for. Even though it was spring break there was not a lot of noise. I have young children so this first floor room with a grassy area just outside was perfect! We were a little disappointed that the arcade mentioned in the listing had been removed. We spent the cloudy day at the indoor pool and enjoyed it very much. I would absolutely take my family back to stay here!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My family had a great time at Gulf Shores. The beach here is terrific and the condo looks just as nice as the pictures. It is a wonderful place for children and they loved the bunk beds.Recommended for: Families with young children.

My best friends took me to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was perfect. First floor made it easy. We had plenty of room for the three of us. Condo was very clean and decorated so cute! Resort was wonderful with nice beach and pools. It was spring break but was not crowded. Will definately book again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This condo was perfect for our winter break get away. My kids loved the indoor pool as the weather was on the chilly side while we were there. The unit was very clean when we arrived. We are already planning another trip in the near future.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This condo was wonderful. We loved that it was on the ground floor, easy access to the pools, hot tub, ocean, and grills. Everything was clean, neat, cheerful colors and everything we wanted in a vacation week at a condo. I will be staying there again and the owners were wonderful with suggestions on restaurants and other fun things to do. I would recommend this condo as a great place to stay, but you better not take the weeks I want!! LOL Wonderful!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

6. RESERVATIONS – Reservations more than 60 days prior to arrival: A reservation payment of $200 is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance of rent is due 60 and 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 45 days of arrival require payment in full. Monthly balances are due 90 and 30 days prior to arrival. 7. CANCELLATIONS – A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. 2 Barefeet Properties, LLC will refund the reservation payment minus a $100 cancellation fee for cancellations made at least 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.

About the owner: We decided to rent our condo through VRBO/HomeAway after reading the comments in our guest book. Many families returned year after year and we wanted our guests to be 'our guests'. We live in North Alabama and are fortunate to visit several times a year and keep the condo comfortably updated. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom who just happens to LOVE the beach! Owning a small piece of paradise is a dream come true.
Why the Owner Chose Plantation Palms:
After vacationing at a crowded beach destination for many years, we wanted a vacation home that offered the beach and not the crowded tourist attractions. Once we walked outside the condo we knew this was where our memories were meant to be made.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The indoor pool is perfect for winter getaways or even those few rainy days. The tennis court and green grass just off the patio allow the kids to play and we can keep an eye on them. Nothing like burning off that last bit of energy kids seem to have while mom and dad relax!
