My daughter needed a much needed "beach" trip because she works full time and has gone back to school to get her master's degree. We love this area because it's an easy, straight drive down from Nashville on I-65. Belinda was amazing to work with in arranging our time at this perfect condominium unit. Everything we needed for cooking was available and we were happy to find a t.v. in the living area and the bedroom. It was beautifully decorated and there was a short walk to the pools, hot tubs and beach! We will definitely return. Thanks Belinda!

This is a very nice gated community on the beach. It was amazing to compare Fort Morgan with Gulf Shores, this is a great location on the ocean without being overdeveloped. The resort is well maintained with tons of amenities for an active vacation. The condo was well maintained with all the comforts of home. Having the washer/dryer in the condo is a real plus on vacaction as well as a full kitchen, living room and eating area. We really liked being on the ground floor and walking out to the beach and grill. The owners are very friendly and communicate very quickly to all e-mails. I recommend this location and condo to any family or couple that wants to be on the ocean with plenty of space to enjoy the beach and other recreation.

My husband and I spent a week in September at this condo. It was very nice just like the pictures. We picked a perfect time to go. The weather was perfect and we practically had the complex to ourselves. The maintenance crew were always on site and kept the grounds in perfect condition. we also has many pools to choose from. the owners of this condo were very hospitable and easy to work with. We Would stay there again!

Wonderful location; affordable, clean & comfortable. The owners were very easy to work with and refunded the cleaning deposit immediately. The interior is creatively decorated with geometrics & vibrant color in furniture and furnishings. Kitchen has everything! Several pools that sparkled; nearly deserted gorgeous beach. I didn't know if I would like ground floor, but it was perfect. Owners have restaurant info in book there, but do check out a sunset at Tacky Jack's at the very end of Fort Morgan Rd (about six miles past Plantation heading to Ferry). Also, take a sunset sail on Wild Hearts - fabulous! I can't think of a single thing I didn't like about this place.

Got to the location and everything worked out perfect. Got there on time and room was ready for guest with no wait. Walked in and everything was perfect. The best part of being on the first floor, was no crowded elevator and parked right in front. The pools and the grills was walking distance( about how far it might take to get to your mailbox and back.). Then if you are just going for the beach, it was just on the other side of the pools and down a boardwalk. Easy walk with a cooler and umbrella. It was just like having all this in your own backyard because of being on the first floor with a nice size patio. Security at night roams the property and are really nice and fair. Just 10 miles towards Gulf Shores and the have alot of attractions too. Like a waterpark if you like that with the kids. My kids 12 and 5 stayed comfortably on the hall bunk beds and loved it. I would definatly recommend this place for any one who is wanting to get close to the water and have all the ammenities. Oh yeah if you like tennis bring your rackets and balls and the court is in your back yard. We loved it and will definatley do it again. Great Time!!!

My family had an amazing vacation. The condo was very well appointed, the bed comfortable and the kitchen well stocked (even had a blender for frozen drinks). The owner was easy to work with and we had no issues with arrival. The building their condo was in was well maintained as well as the closest pools, hot tub and tennis court. (these were only a few steps from the patio and gated with child locks) The beach was spotless and of course, Gorgeous. The coffee shop was close and had many options. We highly recommend this Condo.

We enjoyed our stay at the Plantation so very much. We had several friends that stayed at the Plantation, and made new friends...everyone is most friendly. The condo is in such a convenient location, with grills near by, and easy in and out with luggage and groceries. Next year we are going to stay twice as long. Save

We were extremely pleased with this condo--it was everything and more than we could have hoped for! The listing photos really were accurate--everything was extra clean--like walking in to a brand new place! The location couldn't be more convenient. The owner was very gracious when we talked with her and would recommend her rental property to anyone. We enjoyed being at that location and all the amenities. We were only home 3 days when we received our deposit back! Wow! Also, the condo was decorated so nicely--we felt at home right away. Everyone we dealt with was extremely nice! We would love to rent it again! Once again, It was wonderful!! (We were there the month of January 2011.)

This place was so nice and quiet, a great place to getaway from it all, yet just a short drive to the attractions of Gulf Shores. The condo itself was clean and well maintained and had everything you needed to stay put and cook and hang out on the beautiful beaches. A definite recommendation for a great place to stay on the Beach. We'll be back next year!

Great condo, great pools, beautiful beach - what more could you want? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean, and the premises were well-maintained. The location of the unit was very convenient to the pool, tennis courts, fitness room, and beach area. A great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The owner was very helpful, and we received a refund of our security deposit within 2 days of our return home. We loved Tacky Jacks 2 restaurant (just a few miles down the road).

We could not have asked for a better place for our mini-vacation! The condo had great beach decor and was in a perfect location..... swimming pools, hot tubs, and tennis courts awaited us right outside our patio!!!!! We loved that this area still has sand dunes! We enjoyed sitting out on the patio area in the morning and at night - and saw a rabbit munching on grass two of those mornings! The beach and ocean were beautiful (with no oil) and the atmosphere on the beach was great - very family oriented. I also enjoyed seeing dolphins swimming out in the ocean every day. We ate at Gulf Island Grille one night in Gulf Shores and cannot say enough about the food and the service - it was awesome!!!! We will definitely be returning to Plantation Palms and this same unit and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!!!! The owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with as well.

Our family just stayed in this condo on August 1st - 4th and had an awesome time! The place is just as nice as the pictures, if not nicer. It was my husband and 2 small boys... the bunk beds were ideal for them and we had a nice queen sized bed. It is on the ground floor which we loved, and was able to park right outside of our door! She has it decorated so cute and it really makes for a nice little tropical get away. This unit is right next to the tennis courts and outdoor grill and pool. The beachwalk is right past the pool. To save money.... we went grocery shopping in Gulf Shores the first night and cooked and grilled most of the time and just ate out a few times. The unit was very clean and well maintained and Belinda is so wonderful to deal with, and I got my security deposit back just a couple of days after we got home! We ate at Lester's Restaurant in Orange Beach..... very yummy! and then went to Fast Track with the boys for gocarts and bumper boats. The beach was great because they had lifted the swim advisory and cleaned the beach often. We saw the tarballs but they did not prevent us from enjoying the beach and water. The only con would be having to drive so far to Gulf Shores, however there is more than enough to do right there at the condo with the beach, pools, tennis courts, etc. and there is a nearby convenience store down the road and even a Gift shop with a starbucks on the Plantations property. I would definitely reccomend this condo!

Our family had a wonderful time at the beach 5/19 thru 5/24/10. The condo was especially nice, clean, decorated beautifully. We love the first floor location. It was very convenient to the pool, the landscaping is beautiful, and easy access to the walkway to the beach. We have stayed at the Plantation many times in the last 10 years but this is the best. Special thanks to the owners, who were especially kind and helpful.

We went to Gulf Shores for the first time this spring break (March 2010). Friends had told me about it, so I started looking for a place to stay and I found this condo at Gulf Shores Plantations. The condo looked exactly like in the pictures. Very clean and nicely decorated. Being on the ground floor was perfect for us, as we have 2 boys (6 and 8) who loved being able to go outside and play in the yard. I appreciated having a washer and dryer and a dishwasher! And you should she the dishes! They are very beautiful and colorful. The way the condo is decorated really makes you feel at home, in a little paradise! We had a great time on the beach, which is only a short walk from the condo. Unfortunately the water in the outdoor pools wasn't warm enough to swim, but we enjoyed going to the indoor pool in the evening and sitting in the outdoor hottub when the kids were in bed. I would highly recommend this condo to other families, as it is a great place for kids. If we are going to Alabama again, we will definitely go to this condo!

Property is easy to find. Many things to do from history, hiking along the birding trails, collecting seashells, walking the wonderful white sand beach, spotting dolphins, soaking in the outdoor hot tub, fishing, nice atmosphere to kick back and soak in the slower pace enjoying some relaxation. A great place to leave the everyday world behind and enjoy some R&R. The condo's is well stocked and clean. not many steps to the boardwalk and the beach. It made for a good home away from home athmosphere.

Clean and welcoming condo. We enjoyed being on the first floor with direct access to the tennis court, grills, and pools. Although it is on the first floor, you still have a good view of the ocean and the abiltiy to fit four children and two adults made it more affordable for our family. We would definitely stay in this condo again!
