The Blue Wave Cottage is located 2 blocks from the beach, less than one block from the river and park. This property is brand new to the vacation rental market and boasts all new furniture and linens. It is decorated in blue and white and is very 'beachy.' The home is great as a romantic getaway!
Seaside is also a perfect family destination with lots to do for all ages.
The cottage is very cozy with its warm gas stove, and there are many books or videos available on a stormy day if you feel like staying in. On a nicer day there are countless activities close by, mostly within walking distance.
The kitchen is huge and makes cooking a big meal easy and fun. The dining table can be made quaint to fit just 2 people or expanded to hold 6. The two bedrooms are private and don't share a common wall. The second of the two has a neat day bed that converts to sleep 2, and there is a desk in there if you need to catch up on any work or write.

The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The cottage is unique because of its special location! It is less than half a block to the river so the bike rental shop and convenience store are right across the 12th Street Bridge. There is also a park kitty corner from the house, which is a great place to take young children to play on the swings or jungle gym. And the beach is just 2 blocks away at the start of the famous promenade where there is also the ease of a public restroom and parking.
Also located in Northwest Seaside, the bay is fun to explore, and the area is nice and quiet and less congested, but all the action is just a five minute walk down the promenade.

We began renting the Blue Wave Cottage in the spring of 2009. It was a lot of fun starting from scratch- buying all new: furniture, decorations, linens, and everything to fill the kitchen...
In the winter we enjoy watching a good movie by the fire at the cottage, or a romantic but relaxed dinner in town at our favorite restaurant: Pudgy’s. In the summer we like to host clam bakes on the beach or play in town, particularly at the arcade.

Stayed here last weekend and it was a great place to stay in. The house looks just like how it is in the pictures provided-- clean, cozy, and wonderful. I was really surprised by how generous they are with their supplies. Usually other beach rentals skimp on things like toilet paper, kitchen supplies, etc. but we found everything we needed here! It's also within walking distance of the beach, bay, 12th st. bridge (though we didn't catch any crabs), and downtown area. Will definitely rent again if we're in the Seaside area.

We stayed at this charming little cottage with our two young girls and had the most wonderful time! The house was just as described if not better. We felt like we were right at home. Our 3 year old lovingly calls this the "Sunshine House" because of the decoration on the front of the home. She can't wait for us to go back! This was truly a home away from home. We created many great memories and plan to go back to make more! The owners were wonderful to work with also, very personable. Overall a fantastic experience, highly recommend! Thank you again!

My boyfriend and I took my 14 year-old brother here for a few days in July and we couldn't have been more impressed with the place, or the owner. The house is immaculate and theres tons of movies, books, games, storage, and everything else you'd need. It's only a couple of blocks away from the beach and there's a park across the street with a basketball court that was greatly appreciated by my brother. It's a great place for romance or family time. All in all an A+, we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is nicely decorated and very well stocked. We did a lot of cooking and found all of the cooking items that we needed (except a potato masher:). The beds were also surprisingly comfortable! It is a very nice location; convenient to the beach and the highway (and across from the outlets). We would definitely stay here if we ever get back to Seaside.

My family had the best time at the Blue Wave cottage. It is so clean, close to everything, and quiet. I hesitate to recommend it so strongly because.. I don't want it to be booked the next time we want to go. As a bonus, the owner was so quick to respond and really helpful. A total pleasure! Loved this place!

Wonderfully cozy house in a great location! Crabbing just a block a way and the beach only a short walk. Our kids won't soon forget it and are already asking to go back. Owners were great to deal with.
