What a great place for a reunion! So many places to accomodate friends (and next time wee'd bring the kids). There are a multitude of activities for rain (pool, pinball, fusball) or shine (Kinsman trailhead is a stone's throw, touristy notch activities a short drive), or snow (Canon Mt, and Franconia Inn's cross country skiing are right there). The view is breathtaking! The house is a great setup for taking it in: from the moment you wake up you can see Lafayette out your bedroom window, to taking in a cup of coffee in the living room on the cozy leather couch looking out at Franconia Range, to catching the alpine glow or sunset on the deck, or just relaxing in the middle of the woods in the hottub. My husband and I live in New Hampshire and I work in Littleton, but it still felt like a retreat for us in the middle of the best part of new Hampshire. Our Boston friends were in heaven, as were we.

This house was great. My friends and I wanted to get away for a ski weekend. We went to Bretton Woods, about a 40 minute ride. The kitchen was great so that we could cook out own meals. The pinball machine was awesome, everyone loved it. The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing in the very cold weather (it was about 0 on the mountain). The house was big enough for all of us (there was 10 of us). The view from the house is one of the best views I have every seen. We are already planning on returning next year, we loved it so much. This house would be a great rental in the winter or the summer.

My boyfriend and I and 4 other couples rented this house for a weekend and we had an incredible time. The pictures of the property and the accompanying scenery don't do it justice. Those who wanted to hang out on the deck, soaking up the sun and watching the clouds dance across the mountains did so, those who wanted to hang in the hot tub did and never once did the tv get turned on. Amazing in this age of technology. The house was very clean, the kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and dishes and the long table next to the kitchen was conducive to having 10 of us sitting around sharing meals, laughing and just enjoying each others company. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to rent it - as a matter of fact the 10 of us are already looking to next years calendar to determine when we are going to rent it again. I wish I had recommendations on the area attractions to share, but we just never left the house - we were that comfortable there and enjoying our time with each other. Thanks again to David for making his place available for people to enjoy!

This place was great went for the weekend after Christmas. Cannon is very close, less than 10 minutes! Place was great, bigger then I expected we ended up having extra beds. Great breakfast place that we found on the way out next to Macs grocery store, wish we had tried it the first morning had a great breakfast sandwich. But this house is perfect for a big family, the views are awesome! The hot tub was also a nice little add on. I can't say one bad thing about the accomodations.

The views are even better than the photos! We had a fantastic time. The house was private but totally accessible to so many activities. The house was large, clean, comfortable and certainly entertaining! The hot tub was certainly a nice addition and very clean. The owner provided us with all the information we needed and responded promptly to any questions we had. What a perfect spot to take a family vacation, summer or winter!

What a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful house in the mountains! We had a college reunion gathering of women from New England and beyond (NJ, PA, and Switzerland!), and had a fantastic time! The house is large and was perfectly laid out for this sort of activity. Plenty of sleeping areas, and a large, open common area with TV, music, movies, games, and sitting areas. The kitchen is well equiped, and we cooked all our meals there. In spite of the season being just past it color peak, there were plenty of beautiful golden, orange, and red leaves in the trees. The house was a reasonable drive from several airports, and easy to find. The area is lovely, with lots of wonderful walks and activities (we had a wonderful ride up Mt. Cannon in a tram). We sat up late each night, soaking in the hot tub or hanging out in the common area listening to music, watching baseball (Go Red Sox!), and enjoying wine and cheese snacks. Everyone is already talking about a larger reunion next year in the same place! -- Debra and her gal pals from New England and beyone (NJ, PA, and Switzerland)
