Had a few extra days in SF after a business meeting. Taya's place was wonderful! It was all that she promises and more. She has thought of everything for her guests and after renting at least 10 places, her hospitality and attention to detail was at the top of the list. She had everything already there, including coffee, tea, sugar, organic fresh fruit, and a bottle of wine to boot. Plus tons of SF information. The neighborhood is great--walking distance to Golden Gate Park, and full of all kinds of restaurants and shops. The apt was super comfy- it enabled two of us to spread out and have some space as opposed to being crowded in a hotel room. Beds were comfy as were the living room sofas. We took a free guided tour of the arboretum, visited friends in Castro and Mission areas, went to the Ferry Bldg Sunday for the farmer's market and then out to Muir Beach, Stintson Beach and Tiburon for drinks at Sam's place. Great weather too--hardly a cloud of fog in sight! Thanks Taya--hope top be back for a longer visit. If you are wondering whether to rent this place--do it. You will not regret a thing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this flat. When we arrived, Taya's husband met us and showed us how to use everything, where to park, and answered all our questions, including where we should eat dinner. The flat has everything we could ever need, including a first aid kit, shoe horn, wonderful fruit basket and wine, and extremely comfortable beds. There is a great selection of teas and good coffee, all the kitchen implements we could need, and wonderfully sharp knives. Taya called a couple of times to make sure all was well. Other residents in the building were quiet, and we discovered this is an ideal location from which to visit the city. Bus access was very convenient, and we left the car parked the entire time. There is a fire station just across the street, but the trucks wait to turn the corner before starting the sirens, so we slept very well. We enjoyed walking to Golden Gate Park, and especially enjoyed dinner at the Cliff House with fantastic views. I highly recommend this flat. Last time we came we spent twice as much for a hotel suite 1/2 the size and less comfortable, just off Union Square where we did not feel safe leaving at night and did not sleep as well because of all the street noise.

Lovely welcome gift of wine and fruit. Hostess very friendly and helpful. Off street parking a big plus. Three flights of stairs to front door may make it difficult for some elderly or disabled persons. I wou;d recommend this place to anyone.

We went to San Francisco for our daughter's wedding and stayed in this apartment for a week. It was reasonably priced and exactly as advertised. In fact, it looked just like the photos. It was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen had pots, pans, utensils, dishes, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, cups, serving dishes, bakeware, etc. Spices and herbs, coffee, tea, olive oil, vinegar, sugar, etc. were all provided. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a variety of organic fruit. The owner was helpful and checked to be sure we had all we needed. There was also a coin op washer and dryer in the garage. I would heartily recommend this apartement. We would love to stay there again.

We stayed here for two nights with our young daughters (ages 6 & 9). The apartment was clean and comfortable! Loved the wine and fresh fruit provided by the owners. Plenty of soft towels in the bathroom, and comfortable bedding in the bedrooms. We've stayed at a lot of rentals and this was one of our favorites--so many amenities. This apartment is on the fourth floor, so prepare to walk up the stairs. Not a big deal (our girls loved it!) and Taya's husband was so nice to help carry our stuff upstairs, too! Being able to park in the garage was a huge plus for us, since many of the hotels in SF charge $40-60 per night. We had SF City Passes and used the bus, cable cars, and F train to get around. There is a fire station across the street, but it was not an issue. They had a few calls while we were there, but it was not distracting/loud. There's a cafe down at the street corner which was really nice. Thanks Taya! We had such a great time here and appreciate such a positive experience!

Not only did we like the apartment decor and all the extras ie,. bottle of wine, teas, coffee, fresh fruit, staples like olive oil, balsamic vinegar, we loved being right around the corner from some of the best restaurants in San Francisco. Comments left on Trip Advisor "A perfect stay" My family recently traveled to San Francisco for a wedding. Initially, I struggled to find the right accommodations for our family of 5. Choosing to stay in an rental unit was absolutely the best decision. The designer unit managed by Taya Katz was fantastic, beautifully maintained, immaculate, quiet and comfortable. The apartment provides quick and easy access to just about any destination in the city without the congestion of downtown. I would certainly recommend this unit to friends and family and use it again myself on future visits.

We stayed in this beautiful unit for three nights, and loved every minute of it! The owners really go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed and pampered, from the large fruit bowl & botle of wine, to the coffees & teas in the cupboard, to the fluffy towels & comfy beds. The unit appears to have been recently remodeled & painted; it is beautiful & comfy. Our 13 year-old son liked it so much he asked if we could "fix our house up like this?" This was exactly what we were looking for in a rental; little did we know that the location was also ideal! Golden Gate Park is close at hand, as is the Presidio & all the attractions that one would be interested in when visiting San Francisco. Whle being close to everything you could possibly want, the neighborhood itself is peaceful, quiet & safe. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously & look forward to a repeat visit in the future. Taya & Peter are wonderful hosts and we thank them very much for the lovely stay. We highly recommend them!

We just returned from our stay in the unit. I was pleased to find that the flat was well represented by the pictures and descriptions. We enjoyed the parking, the complimentary wine, coffee and teas, the fruit, and the laptop as well as printer. The printer came in handy when finding directions to new places in the city. The owners were very easy and pleasant to work with and very accommodating with our schedule. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance and a well-stocked market (even ATMs). The flat is very clean and the beds are comfy. The TVs and iPod docks were popular with the kids. I would definitely recommend this unit.

For a couple of years now, I have managed two vacation rentals myself and I was truly impressed by the level of service that Taya provides to her guests. She did a much better job than me in several respects. Her approach is to provide more than just necessities. All of the complimentary items (of which there were many)--wine, fruit, candy, tea, coffee, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc., were top of the line items. In addition, all of the towels, sheets, bedspreads, fixtures--everything was also of very good quality. There is even an Internet-connected laptop on a desk in one of the bedrooms. Having talked about the rental itself, let me also address the neighborhood. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping very nearby on Geary Avenue. Plus, it's a nice neighborhood. I felt perfectly safe there, and it is central to all of the city. The only negative thing I could possibly think of was a little morning noise from the nearby Fire Station. However, I did not get woken up at all in the middle of the night, and who wants to sleep late in San Francisco anyway? If anything, I have to confess that Taya beat me at my own 'vacation rental' game. She takes better care of her customers than I do (but I plan to do better in the future). I've already recommended the place to one friend and will definitely check it for availability the next time I plan a trip to San Francisco.

We stayed at the apartment during our spring break and had a great time. The apartment is very nice with comfortable beds and lots of little extras that made our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed the fruit basket and bottle of wine, and the Muni passes came in very handy. The apartment is conveniently located to just about everything. We hopped on the bus to the California Academy of Sciences, the Exploratorium, and Pier 39. We walked to the grocery store, some restaurants, and a nearby beach. Muir Woods was easy to get to by car, and it was nice having some off-street parking. We felt like everything was close by. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Very well appointed, clean and bright apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipt. The assortment of teas and fruit were welcome after a long journey. I would recommend this apartment for couples or small families. It's on the 4th floor which might be tough for an older person. Having the parking space was invaluable as parking was tough to find in this neighborhood. You can walk to restaurants and coffee shops aswell as a market.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was ideal - in a convenient location and a comfortable place to come "home" to. It is well situated to visit Golden Gate Park and all its amenities and to take public transport into the city. It suited our needs perfectly. We appreciated the use of the laptop, the free muni passes, organic teas, fruit, numerous towels and other supplies. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming.

This unit was very nice for our family of four. The location was great as we were able to get coffee close by and walk to both Baker Beach and Golden Gate Park. Having stayed in hotels downtown when our children were younger, we have since given up on that option due to the limited space, hotel tax, and cost of parking which can be as much as $48/day. This unit was very nicely appointed and quiet. We were very pleased!

My mother and I had the pleasure of being the first ones to stay in this beautiful unit. We stayed for two weeks. I must say that the stay was very pleasant and over exceeded my expectations. The location is very convenient, walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shopping and very easy access to the public transportation to any place in the city. The owners are very attentive and hospitable. They surprised us with a bottle of great California wine and a big basket of organic fruit. Personal highlights for me included the large fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and a wide assortment of organic teas. A big plus is the provided parking spot in the garage which eliminated the headache of finding parking for our vehicle. Overall I would give the place an A+ and we have already reserved our next stay.
