My husband and I just got back after staying a week. What a great place. We were looking for a relaxing, newer remodel, clean, and quiet place to stay and found it atOcean Point. If you wished to do more action things they are all close by but we wanted to lay on the beach, read, and recharge. Many good fish places to eat nearby. We hopemto return next year.

Everything about this condo was exactly as described and shown in the photos. It is located in a wonderful, well-maintained resort. The interior is beautifully appointed. Not only is the resort very nice, this condo is definitely in the best location in the resort - right near the marina, ocean and the beach. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family and would stay here again if we came to the Keys again.

We really enjoyed this place, the property was clean and well maintained. Would definitely go back again. Close to beach, pool and cafe. View from room was awesome. Did an Island Time sunset cruise departing from Steamers Restaurant.

Owners love their condo and it shows. Very tastefully decorated, clean, upscale appliances and linens... and patio has the best view of the marina. All pictures show exactly what you get. Ocean Pointe is a very well maintained complex. It was a pleasure working with the owner.

My wife and I were looking for a place to escape the NY winter and found this place in paradise. The unit was very clean and comfortable, and the views and location was fantastic. The Oceanpointe complex is very nice, everyone was friendly from the guards at the front gate to Dee in the Cafe...We enjoyed the Florida Keys, took day trips everyday ( Pennekamp, Theatre Of The Sea, Annes Beach, Turtle Hospital, Dolphin Encounter, Key West)... ate well ( Mrs Mac Kitchen, Islamorda Fish Company, Snappers, Dillons, Keys Fisheries)... and relaxed too. If you plan a trip to Key West to see the sunset, rest up because its a long drive...The rental process was very easy, and Marcial was very attentive to our questions. We would highly recommend this condo to our family and friends, and we look forward to the future when we can come back to Oceanpointe... P.S. If your needs require a two bedroom unit, ask Marcial, his family has a unit on the second floor in the same building....

This was our second stay at this wonderful condo. Everything is spotless and the pool and beach areas are as pictured. We enjoyed every bit of this vacation. We visited the Everglades National Park, Bahia Hondo State Park, and did some kayaking at John Pennekamp State Park. Marcial as always was very prompt in answering our inquiries and I highly recommend this condo!

My husband & I stayed at this resort and this unit for 4 nights. I spent a bit of time checking out the resort via their own website, trip advisor and several units available thru VRBO. This unit was very clean with modern appliances, flat screens in the living room and bedroom and a nice small patio with an amazing view of the marina and ocean. Sometimes overlooking a marina can be smelly and loud but this was just beautiful and so picturesque. The marina had a small cafe serving some casual meals. The unit was very close to the marina, the pier, the beach and a short walk to the pool and hot tub. The pool is larger than normal for most resorts. We went snorkeling and kayaking at John Pennekamp State Park. The snorkeling was great with many colorful fish. We had so many great meals such as hogfish at Mrs. Mac's, florida lobster and sunset view at the Bayside Grill, a table overlooking the ocean at Sandpiper's and stone crab claws at the Fish House. We made arrangements to check-in in advance with the owners and did not have much contact with them personally but we had no problems and everything was processed smoothly. We had a wonderful stay, great weather, lovely accomadations and ate way too much. I would definitely recommend this unit especially for couples.

My husband and I chose to vacation in Tavernier for our honeymoon and since neither of us had been in the keys before, we basically chose blindly as to the location and lodging, We chose this the De Sautu's unit at Ocean Pointe and it was absolutely amazing. The view from the window is gorgeous, the entire unit is updated and looks beautiful. It felt so comfortable and like we were at home. The unit is furnished to really take care of every traveler's needs...all the way down to having chip clips, can openers, and glad ware. It was the little things that made it feel so great to be there. We are not TV watchers, but the huge TV's with the Blue Ray players made for some really great movie times. The bed is incredibly comfortable and we both slept very well, which is always hit or miss in new places. However, the location made it even better. It is a good central location to several different things to do and we never felt far from our desired activities. We took a serious liking to snorkling and tried out the John Pennenkamp park along with several road-side stops. We used the small beach area to snorkle and kill some time and ended up seeing some great fish - scary and awesome. The little bar there was a great place to stop during the day and everyone was very friendly. Marcial made our honeymoon a breeze and we can both say that it was the best vacation we have ever had. We were welcomed from the beginning with a small gift that we will always keep and we have never felt more relaxed. We absolutely plan to come back in the future and will recommend others to you. Thank you!

Fantastic views, clean and modern condo nicely furnished and decorated. Very accurate description in the VRBO listing. Loved the pool and surroundings. The owner was very prompt in his responses and pleasant to work with. Enjoyed eating at local restaurants and side trip to Key West. Would definitely like to return in the future.

Our experience was great from the begining. The owner was very accommadating. Their place was modern and very nicely decorated. The view of the ocean was fantastic. Great pool! Close to so many adventures. Only a 40 minute drive to the Everglades or nearby to some of the best fishing I have experienced. I'll be back!

We were amazed by the views from this beautifully appointed condo. This resort was fantastically landscaped and far exceeded any in the immediate area. The pool was huge and a definite plus which we enjoyed every day. Marcial was very prompt responding to our questions and very helpful in recommending activities, restaurants, etc., We particulary enjoyed Snappers restaurant. We visited Key West, Everglades, Bahia Honda state park (beautiful beach), John Pennekamp state park (glass bottom boat was great). We watched the pelicans and frigate birds from the deck and even sighted an iguana on the boardwalk one morning. Sightseeing was fun, but it was wonderful just enjoying this comfortable condo and the resort. Thanks to Marcial for an unforgettable vacation.

This place was a great place to vacation. Facility has an awesome view and everything was in working order. My only objection is the key transfer. The owner should have something in place with the association so that the key can be picked up upon check-in. We had to make arrangements to meet the owner somewhere in route and that was not good, in that we were not familiar with the area. Other than that, I would highly recommend this unit for your place to stay.

From the minute we walked in the door, we loved staying here. We were drawn immediately to the view from the slider/deck. The condo is on the top floor, and the vantage point for views is perfect. The pictures on the website can’t do it justice. It was fun to watch the boat activity in the canal as well as the sunrises and the changing weather! The condo itself is lovely--from the elegant paint colors, to the bead board and chair rail beach décor, to the large tiled shower, and the classy dark brown plank floors. These renovations, as well as the modern appliances, round out a wonderful vacation home. Marcial continues to fine-tune the details, making it very comfortable for long-term stays. The resort, well-manicured, crisp and clean, is in a great location. From it, we toured the Keys, all the way to Key West. The swimming pool is great! I wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at this place for 2 weeks and enjoyed it very much. It matched the descriptions provided including all of the amenities. We particularly enjoyed the full size supermarket 2 miles away which was in a mall that had a movie theater. The surroundings were quiet at night. The pool was delightful with its heated water and its many chaise lounges ! We would recommend this place to both friends and family.

We just finished up a 1 month stay in this condo and it was wonderful...everything is new and top of the line; and Marcial and his wife Bea and boys were so helpful and kind. Their condo truly over looks the Marina and in fact, I saw my very first,in the wild, bottle nose dolphin right beneath my balcony! I think that if I had held a fish out in my hand, that the dolphin would have jumped up and grabbed it! The sunrise is absolutely spectacular and out the back door, on those occasions when there is a full moon, the full moon looks like an orange waiting to be picked. In my book, this is a "must stay place".

Wonderful view of the boats and the Atlantic Ocean from balcony above the marina. Nice little beach and gazebo on the water. Nicest pool/hottub that we've seen. Clubhouse/cafe can meet needs for food/beverage/wifi. Most of the time I could get wifi from unit. Bring placemats for glass dining table & baking dish. Great TV's, DVDs, and James Patterson & Patricia Cornwell books. Really great shower and nice decor throughout.

We had a great time at this condo owned by Marcial De Sautu. This is the second time at Oceanpoint resort for us by the first time in this condo. Marcial has done a great job remodeling this unit so it seems first class all the way. Two large screen flat panel TV's with blue ray players is awesome. We even saw a dolphin swimming in the Marina from our balcony. This unit is very convenient to the cafe for frequent trips with our laptops and also close to the pool. Great location overall and great owners that were more than helpful on our stay. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

Great place to stay! The condo is nice and clean with lots of updates and well equipped kitchen and appliances. It has great views overlooking the ocean, marina, and fishing pier. We enjoyed viewing the sunrises in the morning and moon on the water at night. The complex is great with nice tennis courts, pool, marina, fishing dock, and clubhouse. Close to great snorkeling and diving sites and good restaurants to view fabulous sunsets. We recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again.
